  1. Soon to be 5 with Dolan. Beginning to think it's club policy for some reason.
  2. So it seems no qualifications are needed but experience and some sort business degree and/or a sporting degree is kind of an unwriiten rule. No wonder it's such a crazy reckless wasteful world that attracts hustlers and parasites by the truckload. Crazily enough Gestede on paper in now probably more qualified than many others in those roles.
  3. Surely there has to be some type of qualification criteria to be a Chief Executive of a Championship club ?
  4. Still running the club via proxy (swaghail) would not surprise me in the slightest. 10% of all ins and outs over a decade and a half is some serious money.
  5. About ten thousand home fans actually turned yesterday so it's probably a couple of thousand have signed up for next season already.
  6. People could see the good sense in the appointment of Allardyce even if they didn't like his football or even him. A lot have struggled with the word salad attempts to justify this appointment given his track record, he's every bit the mercenary going from pay off to pay off. Better to be honest and say well we won't pay a serious coaches wages nor back him so we had to look in a specific market to fit our non budget. He applied and agreed to the terms etc, Rudy likes him, Suhail likes his low wages so we rolled the dice.
  7. We've got to go for the win might as well lose 4-2 than sit deep and lose anyway.
  8. I reckon it's nailed on there is. Consider the same agents allegedly got 4 managers on the bounce through the door, one of them being Mowbray i'd figure they also brought in Waggot.
  9. I suspect whoever gets them their foot in the door's word is more important than cv's. These lot must have a hell of a staff turnover in India if they operate the same way.
  10. Puppets installed throughout the club. Saying yes when you should say yes, being told no shut up and be quiet and promising never to rock the boat or stray from the 'owners are great' line all more important than team progress. Only experience needed at Ewood is arse kissing.
  11. I don't know how they managed to come up with that crowd figure yesterday as even allowing for thousands of season tickets counted not turning up it means c4k home fans bought match tickets. I find that very hard to believe.
  12. Sunderland will be a big test for Toth and we'll see how he handles a huge expectant crowd and top end side with something to play for. Hope he keeps his place for that as we are likely to see what he's made of in that one.
  13. Millwall banged a few in early doors and he did ok, couple of nervy moments and a few really good saves iv'e seen it argued that one of those would've gone straight through Pears. Steady enough game and something to build on.
  14. A skint club should never ever be risking 20/30 thousand pounds a week on someone like him that's the player sales money they are throwing down the pan. Every signing is a gamble but some are way more than others and have huge red flags already visible so i assume it was a panic signing to try and keep Eustace happy. These are the same CEO & COO who oversaw the signing of Poveda from Leeds costing 20 grand a week wage contribution and failed to insert a clause if he was injured here. So he went back to Leeds for most of his loan to receive treatment and those clowns had to keep paying 20k a week, then Waggot took over Flecks Sheff U contract and paid him till July for nothing. They are not fit for purpose.
  15. That's why they tell India no we don't need money look at us we finish x points off the play offs without it and produce 20 million pound sales. Now madame, about that bonus......
  16. The balance of probabilities always pointed to Dennis being a flop despite obvious ability just the same as it pointed to Fleck and Ennis turning out to be duds. In the stat driven world of football WHY do these morons keep signing players of that ilk and how much has been spaffed on 2 of those in wages without return ? A million quid plus agents fees at least for absolutely nothing yet this fat director and his sidekick remain in office and are about to see more good players of value leave for nothing.
  17. Well it should be met with widespread outrage and a demand for the the truth but knowing our lot it would fly over the heads of most.
  18. Aye for someone who's quite lightweight it's amazing how many times it's him that gets penalised in tackles etc but he's also quite cute at winning free kicks himself at times. Maybe that goes against him a bit with some refs.
  19. Yep the Rovers fanbase speaks with its pocket, always has and always will and it's something John Williams took a while to understand but once he did his methods worked. These lot have never got to grips with that.
  20. Atmosphere yesterday very much came across as end of season nothing to play for which is ironic that the players turned in a good performance with probably the least backing of the season.
  21. He came across as a sound bloke who'd rather please fans than the suits upstairs.
  22. Same here iv'e not been his biggest fan in terms of his pound for pound contribution here but i had to compliment him today he played like he should and put a shift in.
  23. Games like today remind you what it's all about and if only they'd turned up at Derby things might look a little different now.
  24. Watched it back and he was hugging and high 5'ing the players before a rather sheepish clap to the fans but to be fair there was plenty interaction with the players. He still to me looks really uncomfortable here though.
