Montgomery nearly gave another goal there, he is not ready. Nice kid but not anywhere close to 1st team.

Kargbo adds so much energy, just hope he can keep it up. Cantwell could do with a good cameo here.

Love Miller already, he looks like a great signing. Strong, up for a fight, and huge throw. Overhead kick clearance on sideline is great commitment.

Couple of nice passes/moves woth Gueye but he's not a winger, needs to play centrally.

Good that he wants to play on

Goal doesn't make up for his complete lack of threat through the entire half and the pathetic shot on first chance. The one time he tried to beat his man on outside, which his pace would suggest he should be able to do, he failed utterly

Addendum to previous, Miller's throw is a huge weapon if we can use it.

Fair play, as soon as I say De Neve was trash he scores from Miller throw, but point still stands

Mediocre half, first five mins were a disgrace but after that it was pretty even perhaps edged by us. Montgomery and De Neve were awful; Michalski mistake was comedy but hopefully he learns and I know he is highly rated. Tavares looks a greta buy, his time with Porto is very obvious in his style of play, very classy. Henriksson some useful touches but not quite settled I feel; Tyjon similar, talented but not quite ready I think. Gueye better than some making out, his movement and workmate have been good and he's linked a couple of moves nicely. His finishing remains pretty terrible however.

De Neve just doesn't have it, might be a LB, but never a winger. Tavares though looks like a real player.

Not sure what Ismael sees in Montgomery, he's not a RB at any rate and he looks like a guy who was playing for Chorley last year.

Stretching for positives after horrible 15 mins, Tavares has had some nice touches and looks classy.

For all the cost cutting he'd be mad to actually want relegation, losing 50% of revenue would be impossible to overcome budget wise. Pasha just wants us to plod along in 18th in championship on lowest budget in league.

Might give him more confidence for next game, and to be fair his speed and stamina were main reason we bought him so three games in a week ought to be fine. Interested to see Tavares, I know its lower league opposition but a good midfielder should boss this sort of game so it is still a useful insight. And reality is that he is probably the starter when we sell Trav. Interesting that Miller is at CB, and Henriksson as Right Attacking Mid; the latter could also do with a good game to settle.

To be fair the way Derby are investing and Eustace's ability as a manager, I reckon a promotion clause in any sale would be worthwhile, as tragic as that is for us as Blackburn fans. In all honesty, while I would want 3m or similar to Brittain, we will likely sell at around 2-2.5m including add-ons because Pasha doesn't want to pay Trav a salary anymore.
