A massive improvement on last year i feel, but a more creative midfield needed to create the goals needed for top 6. Also if no more strikers come in, we will struggle if Bellamy is injured for any time. A low top half finish i predict. Also Newcastle will rid souness early on, bring in someone half decent and have a good season.

Great Signing, A forward with electric pace is what we have been missing. Our strikers havent threatened with pace for years. However, i think Benni would have been a more prolific forward, so he would have been 1st choice. I think we can now look forward to a much improved season next season, possible top ten finish, althought a creative midfielder would be useful. Something to think about next summer mabye. Friedel Neil Todd Nelsen Matteo Mokoena/Savage (Depends if fit) Emerton Reid Pedersen Stead Gallagher Could be a good chance for the young lads upfront as im sure theyl get chances against the palace defense.

I for one have never rated Amoruso. Hes far too slow for a centre Half. He may do a job in defensive Midfield with his passing abilities, but Amoruso and Short are pretty much past it. Thompson needs time, i say judge him at the end of next season, same with Emerton (He had the attributes to be outstanding). I agree with Bellamy11, except about Amoruso. Same has happened with Stead, everyone loved him this time last year, now he gets slated. I say look at his allround game, his holding up of the ball and bringing other players into the game is top draw, also the service he has had. Everyone deserves their chance, just Amoruso is gettin too old, and has been essentially replaced by younger better players

With a now seemingly unbreakable defense and with the imminant arrival of new striking power, Bellamy has been linked again today, i cant see us loosing many games next season. It may be overoptimistic but we could be the next Everton, they were in our position last season. I wonder what the odds would be on us finishing top 10 or even to 8ish next term. It wouldnt be a bad shout for a bet in my opinion.

The Umbro Kits are really good kits. There extremely light and keep you cool. Would be excellent for the players to play in. Nottingham Forest Kits are made by Umboro and their Black away kit is a great kit. And we hust have more appeal than Forest.

I think Stead will get more space against these than he did against liverpool Arsenal and Man u. I dont think Savage is fit is he? Crouch is bang on form though and takes some stopping. either 1-1 or 2-1 to Rovers. I think stead wil get another goal, especially after the praise he recieved recently improving his confidence.

I was at the game but had to sit with the home supporters. Id rather sit with them than not go at all, but wish we could have been in the blackburn end. Man U fans are shocking, they justget angry and dont sing at all. There were about 2 chants and that was it. Stead holds the ball up well and brings other players into the game. I seem to be in a minority who think he is a better option than dikov if were playing lone striker. Nelsen is awsome, soo cool on the ball. Reid is a different player in centre midfield, quick and puts in alot of challenges. If we can get one creative midflelder and a forward to play off stead, id go for earnshaw over bellamy, scores more and would be far cheaper in both fee and wages. We rode our luck in the first half, but were comfortable in the second. Stead should have done better on a couple of occasions. Overall a point was fair result.

The team seems to be more fluent with stead in attack, h holds the ball up well, has a good first touch and links other players better than Dikov. Hughes was a striker as a player and you can be sure he will sort out the attack in the summer. At the moment, there is no transfer window, Hughes cant do anything, he has to work with what he has got, and that means not conceeding. If we can get one quality forward and a crative midfielder i can see us finishing top 10 next season, with our now solid Defence. I never thought id say, "With our solid defence". How things change.

Yeah that Kevin Davies is awesome! COME ON YOU BLUES! I wasnt saying Kevin Davis is awsome sarcy, were probly around the same level going forward as bolton now, but if we had a quality striker we would be at a different level.

As Bolton have shown on numerous occasions, if you defend well you can score against arsenal. If only we had a top quality striker leading the line, we would be a completely different prospect.

Newcaste or arsenal woukd be my choice. As if you defend well against these teams you can always score. Man U are stronger than us all over the pitch and we wouldnt stand any chance against them.

Arteta is only on loan at Everton, so his current club seem willing to let hoim go. He wouldnt cost the £6m or whatever Rangers once payed for him. But it depends if Everton make a bid with their superior finances.
