  1. We’re lucky to have him but I think he’ll be around for a while. Always regarded as a top player but his injuries just about finished him off. I doubt anyone would gamble on him now as he’s over 30 so we should be able to enjoy him for another couple of years, fitness allowing. Looks comfortable at international level as well. Great player.
  2. I’m not usually a fan of loans from PL teams but this looks like it might be a good move for us. He’s done it before at this level, the video of the Cov season was fantastic. Newcastle might be thinking if he does well and they go down he could be in their squad next year, can’t see much future for him there if they stay up though. Good signing I reckon.
  3. Just put tonight’s game on after the match and all the talk is about how they need to see more angles before a decision can be made. So basically tv wants to influence it. It’ll be public voting for penalties before we know it.
  4. Don’t like it at all. I see it as a way of the tv companies enforcing their power at the expense of the fans at the ground. Also, in football key decisions are down to interpretation rather than fact anD it diesn't matter how many times you see it on film it doesn’t prove anything conclusively as there are too many factors to consider. I would rather take the rough with the smooth and go with the referee on the pitch making a call to the best of his ability and everyone stop moaning..
  5. I'm not getting the picture at all. The audio option is OK but not worth paying for so I think this will be my last time on this. Didn't work Saturday either although I have asked for a refund.
  6. Our costs are more than double our incoming before player sales. That’s worse than the previous 2 years, not good at all. Have we sold anyone since this? I can’t remember but if we can’t generate this kind of money through player sales the position is just going to get worse by the year. The implications of failing to go up this year are huge. I suppose we knew that anyway though,.
  7. Pissed off about that, was just trying to put it on to watch.
  8. I think the Dingles will go down this year, sold decent players and replaced with worse. Fortunately Dyche will probably move on as well as they show a real lack of ambition. is the game on TV?
  9. Quite a few new players in this squad who need to be moulded into a team. Only 1 way of doing that, he needs to pick an 11 and hope it works. So tonight it has to be the strongest team he can pick. Any variance from this and Mowbray is an idiot as we don't have time to be wasting games. If I hear anyone saying people are tired I'm gonnae go radge, no excuses.
  10. We should sell him quick while he's having his 5 minutes of fame as a 'low budget footballer'.
  11. Yep, proper football unsullied by the corruption and chaos of our league.
  12. I can see Birmingham losing and Forest winning next week. Ipswich at home is as easy a game as you could ask for while Brizzle away is tough as they are on a great run and everyone wants to finish strongly at home. Same applies to Brentford I suppose. We seem to have been doing enough to stay in it for the last couple of months while never quite doing enough to get out of the bottom 3 when the chance is there. It will probably go to the last minute whatever happens. No doubt we deserve to go down with the way the club is run and the fact we have been in the bottom 3 just about all season but if we can manage a win I think we'll might just scab it.
  13. Luck doesn't come into it. Noone can seriously say we are where we are due to bad luck.
  14. Wigan probably need to win all their games. If they do that they deserve to stay up.
  15. Can't come as a surprise to anyone can it. Fail to prepare = prepare to fail. It's been coming for a while and isn't the end of the downward spiral. At least next season we have some good away games to go to and we even might win a few. Stay up and we'll just go down next year anyway.
  16. Not too worried what Wigan do, it's the teams above the line we need to worry about, ie the ones we play this weekend.
