Much as I like Sammi and I love his attitude I don’t think Sammi is a Prem Level player. It’s a bit like Rhodes, he’ll score plenty as this level but the step up is big and getting bigger. We looked mentally tired to me. Too many players not willing to take responsibility and only too keen to pass the buck ( ball ) to others. Usually backwards. How many times did we see a player end up in a difficult situation pass the ball to a player in a worse situation ? I really hate that. Plus all the brainless passing to nobody until the keeper leathered it right down field and back to the Germans. Why can’t the keeper rein it in a bit and drop the ball onto the half way line area and at least give us a chance of winning it ? Our pressing was awful, they played through us with ease most of the time. Any pressing system that relies on Siggy busting a gut is going to fail. I’ve worked at places that were on the skids economically and I know that the situation gets to you in the end no matter how hard you try. I think the economic uncertainty at Ewood Park is getting to the playing staff.

Is there another team in for him besides Rovers ? If there is he won’t be coming here.
