Yeah I know, it’s bordering on cruelty. At the moment all he’s known is the current shite. At least I got to see us win things along with Ronnie, Dougie, Shearer etc.
We all are. I’ve recently got my grandson interested in Rovers. I need to maintain his interest, take him to games etc. His dad is already a fan but can’t make it to games apart from the odd match. If it wasn’t for my grandson I’d be walking away and I first walked onto Ewood in 1961.
I don’t need this level of fuckedupness in my life . Being a pensioner is tough enough.
I know nothing about cycling. It all seems totally over complicated to me. I love watching the highlights though, it’s fascinating. However the fans are a pain in the backside.
Where we are there isn’t really an English community although there are Brits in neighbouring villages. One of the reason we went there. We avoid the ones that do come into town as a whole because of their attitudes. Nobody really speaks English in the local community either. So it’s learn the language or struggle. I struggle but luckily Mrs Shoelaces is reasonably good.
Daft question - what’s the heat like ? We fly out tomorrow and 40C plus isn’t very appealing to be honest.
Yeah, Mayfield really was a legend as a musician. Tragically he was crippled when a lighting rig fell on him at a charity gig he was playing at. He died later as a result of his injuries.
