Szmodics being a classic example. A third of the price of Gally and three times as good. -

When I was playing the mantra was - “ Be bad losers and good winners “. Obviously that never made it as far as Burnley. -

. Or in other words - it’s gone. Or is it Schrödinger’s money ? -

What other excuse have they got ? Their name is over the door unfortunately. -

I just watched the penalty decision in the Brighton - Arsenal game. The game has gone if that’s a pen. The reaction of the Brighton player was disgusting play acting. I was expecting a priest to run on and say the last rites over him ! -

I can’t say I’m surprised. Are there any other clubs interested in him ? If there isn’t he’ll come here. -

That’s obvious. The recent transfer windfall has just allowed them to ruin the club for another year without having to put any of their money in. -

With a new manager when Eustace throws in the towel like JDT did. Who did you fancy next ? -

When we got promoted and he said “ we just need a few lads to help out the current squad “ or words to that effect. That told me all I needed to know about his “ ambition “ , or lack of it. We were on a crest of a wave, we’d just filled the ground, the town was buzzing. Then he pricked our balloon. -

I might be gone first though ! I really would hate to snuff it while they were still ruining Rovers. -

When I used to go to Turf Moor back in the day I got the “ Yelloway “ coach from Rochdale. It used to pick up all the way up the valley to Bacup, all Burnley fans. I’d be sat there with my blue and white scarf on but nobody bothered me, win or lose. I don’t remember any draws. The football was light years better. Something changed in the mid 1960’s. -

What if they want to send him somewhere else ? Somewhere that he might get a chance at playing more attacking football. -

We could do with Clark Kent. On the Schlupp front, there aren’t many really quick 32 year olds. Maybe we think Beck will be recalled and with Pickering being out for months we’re looking for a left back. That would be a different story. -

If I thought for one minute that the extra income would be spent on strengthening the team I would agree with you. But it won’t be. -

The only plus is he’ll never get fired at Ewood. However if he is ambitious ? -

How un attractive would they have to be for working for the Chicken Chokers be more attractive ? I couldn’t name one team in the championship. -

I was just thinking that earlier. Another really good opportunity going begging because of lack of investment. In my darker moments I thought - “ Well that’s another season over “ earlier today. When I think of what we spent on Gallagher and Brererton I could spit ! -

Useless Eustace?

There’s not a chance of that whilst we’re in the Chicken Chokers death grip. Only when they leave. I just hope I’m still alive. -

OK, he may have been ill, if he was fair play to him for turning out. Having said that he’s too passive for me. He needs to be getting on the ball more and running the show. -

Millwall had him weighed up. Get him facing his own goal then take the ball off him. He’s not strong enough to retain possession.
