Does anyone ever bother to read them or am I a bit sad? Thought it would be worth starting a thread to share them, not to go on and be clowns winding them up but just to read their opinions both on us and their own teams. So I was browsing a Wednesday one earlier, understandably in meltdown. Some stark comparisons to here though some of the comments particularly regarding Monk. https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/forum/3-sheffield-wednesday-matchday/ Worth a read if you get a few mins.

Yep Sutton was making his name as a young centre half haha

I can still picture every single goal in that Norwich game, Shearer's lob was one of the best goals Ewood has ever seen, absolute class

Nyambe is, understandably so, a real confidence player. If he has it like he most certainly did yesterday he's just brilliant. I think it was the second goal were he absolutely mugged their defender off and sent him for a hotdog, sheer class. Let's hope he stays fit for a considerable spell now. Such a shame Cunningham got crocked because if he hadn't it would have been the best back 4 for some time.

I don't get why people are implying shit housing tbh, I've not seen other angles but looks like he got belted full whack. I don't think it was a red card as it was accidental but it would still hurt!

I thought it was a fake account at first I'm ashamed to say but has me in stitches.

Has anyone set the gofundme page up yet to get this guy over?

I think your 1500 estimate will be way off after today.....

The 2001 result was when we tubbed West Ham 7-1 at home.

Let's all enjoy this chaps, no point saying it buys tombola Tony more time etc just embrace it. Biggest win since October 2001

Not sure how you can come to that conclusion to be honest. I think to be fair though he could have done with a loan move to a lower end premiership team rather than us to prove he can really make the step up. Such different leagues really. You can see him often getting frustrated with lack of movement from team mates, can't see him having that issue back at City. He's too good for us to put it bluntly.

At least Sam Hart may get a chance to face Liverpool in the FA cup, unlike us Shrewsbury didn't throw their game away. Suppose Shrewsbury ain't that bad of a move but surely the better teams in league one should be sniffing around our players. 9 times out of 10 we loan them to poor struggling teams, not sure if that's a sign of us having crap young players or if we refuse a lot of deals. -
I think we need to guarantee our safety first then I agree may as well just play a few of the younger lads. At least that might make games a bit more interesting watching players most of us haven't seen much of, because lets be honest it really is lining up to be a real dour back end of the season.

Yeah he was deffo a wing back, which to be fair is the position he's best suited to with a strong defender on the left of a back 3 mopping up after him -
I've fractured my skull previously and was advised never to play contact sports again without protection. Granted mine was particularly bad and I also had a bleed on the brain. Severe head injuries can also impact you in other ways bringing on anxiety and other issues. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

The Godlike Genius of Charlie Mulgrew
Ossydave replied to blueboy3333's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Its actually unbelievable how many fans on Twitter and the like are creaming themselves over Mulgrews return and suggesting he plays in pretty much every position on the park ? Lovely guy, forever grateful for his performances in league one, but hell fire if you think he deserves a place in the team be it in goal, defence, midfield or up front you need locking in a cellar or something. -

Sending Chapman on loan? At a time when we need some attacking flair that would be rather stupid. Surely he's not one of the top earners either. Actually maybe he is, probably got a massive appearance fee in his contract too hence why he has barely played to save pennies ? -
Fair play anyone making the trek for this one. I'll be giving it a miss, I've pissed away a fortune over xmas following the team, I need a few weeks off I think. I can see another 1-1 here, not much use to either team. Unless someone nicks a late winner, but I can't see that being us.

Honestly can't see a striker coming in at all. It's an area we've invested in, we don't really have any injuries in that department so its gonna be hard for TM to blag the powers that be to release the purse strings on that front unless maybe Samuel is sold and Brereton loaned out. An old Souey classic case of weeing with the willy we've got I imagine. On the flipside how would we even persuade a striker to come here anyway? A few weeks maybe months to get used to the 'rovers way' then to be welcomed to the circus by being asked to play on the wing. Further to that if I was a prem club looking to loan a young striker out, I'd be massively cautious about allowing them to come here and risk hampering their development. AT BEST I think we might manage a cheap lower league/foreign left back and a left winger again either from the lower leagues or abroad or indeed someone we've never heard of on loan. -
He's basically said he wants a bit of something to do until his house in Cornwall is ready ? Sorry but fuck that, not interested in us being a little gap filler for someone to take them through till retirement.

Exactly. I think those claiming to be ITK these days just make up things that could in theory be plausible and come off but no real meat to the bones. It's a lot different to say 10 years ago when info was quite readily leaked from inside, hell fire I used to get good info from people in marketing and even security staff! Not now. -
Charlton have announced our game with them will be one of their £5 a ticket deals. Probably won't be quite the same demand as the League One season but still an absolute bargain in this day and age. Always a good day out too.

Who's it actually come from that the plan was to sell Dack?

Or play actual wide men like Downing or Chapman there and don't make a fairytale signing that's well past his best.
