I went Stanley last week in the hospitality ? Must say it was a bloody good do as well. £2 a pint of San Miguel in the lounge during happy hour, which was way more than just an hour. Then £1 a pint after the game.

I reckon I could go through my Facebook and easily identify 50+ people I've seen away this season that won't have been a home game. That's just me though, it would be into the thousands I'm 100% certain if we looked at the bigger picture.
-
I'll not lose any sleep over that
-
No to both. It's my daughters birthday the day before so otherwise occupied. Even if I'd gone to that I wouldn't be buying a half ST though, for the reasons I gave in the survey. I've missed literally 2 away this season, won't be going Leeds but will be at most others in the foreseeable.

I know a LOT who fit the criteria
-
Its just a Surveymonkey link. From the wording of the email they're initially targeting fans with history (previous season ticket holder for 25+ years) that STILL go to away games but not currently home games. Not sure it's a good idea posting the link to the survey on here as it's swaying their results. If you fit into that bracket you'll get the email anyway.

The questions are as follows BTW if anyone is interested: 1. How many home games have you attended this season? 2. How many away games have you attended this season? 3. How many home games do you typically attend each season? 4. How many away games do you typically attend each season? 5. What prevents you attending home games? Price Work/Home commitments Matchday experience/atmosphere Other commitments (e.g. sport, shopping etc.) Other (please specify) 6. What would encourage you to return to Ewood? 7. Did you attend the Oxford United fixture? Yes No 8. Any other comments relating to home matchday attendance?

So I received an email this morning (apologies if this has been discussed previously) Hi David, our records suggest that you haven't attended a home game at Ewood Park so far this season, but have followed Rovers on the road. In return for feedback on your attendance habits, we'd like to offer you a FREE TICKET to the Norwich City game on Saturday 22nd December. To complete the survey please click on the image below, your feedback will help inform our home ticketing strategy going forwards. It'll be interesting to see how this boosts the crowd for the Norwich game and also what they do with the answers from the survey.............

Now a 5.30 kick off

Great initiative at a time some folk will be a bit brassic after Christmas. So to put it in context £10 match ticket, £23 Hotel room = less than the price of a ticket alone for the Leeds game so I'm happy with that!

Not sure what to expect at all in this one. We've conceded a staggering 11 goals in our last 4 away games which simply cannot continue. That said 75% of Boro home games have seen under 2.5 goals. We've scored in all but 1 away game. It's all pointing to a 1-1 draw for me. Boro taking the lead and us bagging a late one.... I guess I'd take that. -
Holiday Inn booked for 23 quid, rude not to stay over ?
-
Happy with that, great day out and definitely winnable too, can't believe people are saying it's a bad draw!
-
He has a wand on the edge of his boot Conway worked OK with old Tugay in midfield..... Food for thought perhaps
-
One off, the banging in bit was bang on though ?
-
Why would they get dragged all over the place?
-
I'd say him and Reed are our most mobile midfielders, why not play them both in the middle of the park in a midfield that is so badly lacking mobility time and time again? That said, I'd be amazed if we don't start with Smallwood and Evans there tomorrow.... I can't see him being an idiot, although to be quite honest I'd be feeling pretty pissed off if I was him with the lack of game time.
-
If we want more energy in midfield look no further than Rothwell, yet time and time again he just gets overlooked
-
The suggestion of dropping Dack just stinks of desperation and lack of ideas. Has he been brilliant lately? No damn right he hasn't, but it just drums home home many times we've played awful and Dack has popped up to bail us out. If he doesn't do that we stand about scratching our heads. He is our best player by a mile, he is however only human. He cannot play out of his skin for 90 mins every game. IF Sheff Weds try and man mark him like a few people are fretting over then so what? They don't have players capable of out smarting Dack. If they try doubling up on him then utilise the bloody space left behind its not rocket science. We've failed to score only 3 times in 19 games this season, we WILL score tomorrow - they have 2 clean sheets all season. Pretty damn obvious our main issue isn't Dack having the odd bad game, it's the god awful manner we keep conceding soft goals.

I may seem slightly bonkers but I can see us banging a few in on Saturday, 4-1 Rovers. Sometimes you need knocking down (twice in our case) to come back stronger. It's impossible to imagine the team spirit has been completely ripped out in such a short space of time.
