  1. We need to be still fighting by the time the game comes round or it could be a bit of an embarrassment...... I mean even if we are it won't be anything like the 28k or so we had for the midweek fa cup replayback in 2005 but still.... It's as expected and not unreasonable for a big game in my view, but I know many will disagree....
  2. No, it's you talking shite. I'm talking about the here and now, this season. Ipswich are constantly selling out and I've just given you an example on a Tuesday night 'sunshine' where they have done so. It's circumstantial, and in the circumstances it's a poor following, if you want to disagree I don't give a shiny shite.
  3. It's poor. It's subsidised on a bank holiday. Ipswich have had some real followings this season. They've sold the initial allocation to Barnsley, on a Tuesday night which is more than Norwich are currently bringing, expected to be around 5k with the next batch. So don't come talking shite about nonsense on social media.
  4. Everyone was pissed off about all aspects of that shower of a game, took a while but most of us got over it eventually, as should any player. Thought Norwich would have sold more on a bank holiday with subsidised tickets? Really poor from them regardless of sky. Ipswich would have sold out..... Interesting the player getting the most stick from our fans on here is listed as our one to watch on their site 😕
  5. Erm we pasted them in this fixture last season when it 'meant something', it'll be almost exactly a year on from that when we meet........
  6. Massive test on so many levels. Saturday was poor, but it needs erasing from the memory now, I imagine Norwich were pretty deflated too after a dodgy goal against them stood. JDT needs to lift the players big time, the crowd can also play a part. Its worrying the lack of experience amongst the players at times like this, time to stand up and be counted. I don't think it'll be particularly enjoyable I'm afraid! I'm going for a nervy 1-0 win, BBD with the goal after 8 minutes or so.
  7. Yep I'd be on the phone to Potter immediately! Great manager who's had some absolute shite signings forced upon him.
  8. I don't disagree, I'd prefer Wharton over Morton too. All I'm saying is it seems his exclusion isn't purely based on footballing ability. JDT has unfortunately had his options limited due to the incompetent backroom staff failing with transfers and Buckleys injury too. Ultimately I think the failed transfer is going to be the reason our season sadly fails too.
  9. Ask yourself why he's not playing? The manager knows Adam better than any of us, he's not afraid to play youngsters so there's clearly a reason.
  10. Not involved for the u21 game yesterday either I don't think? Unless he wanted to go the City game, again?
  11. Half expected it to be honest, the games after the internationals are usually a bit scatty, deserved a draw at least but never mind. Home wins would lead us to the top 6, Friday a must win. Its typical that Huddersfield click into place just before we play them too 🤦
  12. M6 is currently closed around Junction 30, may after some people's journey so key an eye on it re-opening....
  13. Curtis is quite frankly a fat wanker, he used to take great delight making bullshit stories up about our players in the Sun to try and unsettle them when we were up there challenging his beloved United.
  14. Sharpe says there's a "year option" - why are we still fannying about with these?
  15. New deal signed to 2027, he's had a bit of a wobble lately but sure most of us will welcome the news.
  16. When Kaminski arrived he had a unique (sometimes quite scary) positional sense, in that he was almost in midfield at times! Rightly or wrongly he's gradually been pushed back. Also when he arrived his distribution was better, it seemed to get a bit shaky after an injury the other season, from memory either a groin or hammy strain. Things like that can become mental (fear of reoccurrence). If he's now had knee surgery there's a worry from that too. Personally I think I'd be tempted to stick with Pears now till the end of the season to avoid rocking the boat too much.....
  17. What do you drive Chaddy? Appreciate this topic has gone wildly off on a tangent but I see no issues. Sponsors should appreciate this debate.
  18. I've got a 2ltr diesel and don't have to pay the clean air charge, only city I would have to is London.....
  19. Great news, I think the cup run has done a world of good👍
  20. I'd love a Birmingham round trip for 25 quid 🥲
  21. Thanks for that, I guess I wasn't so far off with my gut feeling then, give or take a few quid here and there.
  22. At some point I imagine someone will be arsed to do some kind of comparison on ST prices elsewhere in the league. I reckon we'll be about average this season, can't see many clubs making tickets cheaper at all. You have clubs in this league slipping into embargoes and being unable to pay wages, fair play if the ones holding the purse strings can offer cheap season tickets. You'll have a tough time trying to find anything reducing in price in these tough times.....
  23. Not specifically Rovers but funnily enough I was reading earlier how Forest have altered a load of their prices and if you're 19 you now pay full price (they've bumped those prices up too).
  24. It's not mind blowing but people should be fairly happy with those prices. IF we could manage to nail promotion those tickets become a lot more enticing, partly because there's less midweek games too. Let's be honest Sky wouldn't be mad on seeing us play every week either. If the current feel good factor carries over I think we'll see a rise in season tickets anyway, but nothing major.
