  1. In fairness i think A Wharton is still getting fully up to speed after having no pre season, he'll play much better this season. Meanwhile Burnley are getting dry bummed here, this belongs on an adult channel 🤣
  2. Motm easily for me, but when you score a goal like that I guess you do deserve it.
  3. I was thinking this, great to see
  4. Come in Dolan, your time is up. Awful, again.
  5. Yeah not sure why Gilsenan isn't there, suspect he's playing Wednesday though which might have had an impact?
  6. Looks like Bloxham is involved in some capacity...
  7. Thought it was the same deadline as Saturday games, my bad
  8. Moran won't be registered so no chance. Maybe get a run out in the cup though.
  9. Watford Hight St is a lot closer
  10. It's not great I'm afraid. The concourse is terribly small and cramped and no alcohol served if you were planning on having a beer or 2...
  11. Talking out of your backside, not for the first time on here. Confusing fan.
  12. I didn't realise quite how bad it was till I saw that angle. I reckon he'll wait till the Harrogate game to give Leo his debut, ease him in and all that.
  13. There's a video on twitter from the Hull end, Pears is being ridiculed as a result, its pretty grim.
  14. It's just a habit (a strange one if you ask me). There's people that will leave as soon as the clock says 82 minutes, every single game. Well they'll end up missing a fair few goals this season especially.
  15. Christ people used to flood for the exits early even in '95, there's not a cat in hells chance it's gonna change now.
  16. He's stressed a few times in recent interviews how important it is to entertain the fans. Some games last year were terrible in terms of entertainment. I haven't found any game this season dull to be fair. We do seem more willing to take risks this season, obviously it ain't gonna always work out though. I guess it's all about balance really. Also playing as such becomes much less risky when you are more lethal in an attacking sense, hopefully that aspect improves if Gregg can provide the goods.
  17. He still doesn't look properly fit, but that's not all bad because I agree he did well and we can expect further improvements too 👌
  18. It's quite simple, we at least drew that, probably won with 11 men. Looked a man short on a few attacks. Hats off to those that did play though, can't fault the effort. We're going into a real tough period now, hate international breaks but I think JDT actually utilises them quite well, hopefully get Siggy ready for some game time too...
  19. I'm not saying it would never happen, perhaps more so initially. But once people realise its gonna equal an almost instant ban they'd be pretty damn stupid to copy said morons. There wasn't even major issues when we were sent to our seats with ale at the Turf that time!
  20. You can't get away with throwing things onto the pitch these days, if you're that way inclined. CCTV is a legal requirement in football stadiums as far as i know - the culprits would be fished out without issue and banned. Besides, a plastic pint glass would do nothing (they're paper anyway now).
  21. Bring back the fellas/women who used to walk down the front of the Riverside with insulated boxes full of pies! It would of course be better if they could dish out booze though. That's part of the problem really, a 15 minute window to buy and consume booze is not adequate in most grounds. If you could sup at your seat it would be staggered and far better. Yes I know I know you don't need alcohol to enjoy football before anyone pipes up, some (a lot) do enjoy it though.
  22. Quite a few clubs have self serve/pre order facilities now (I believe that lot up the road have something now, no idea how good it is though)
  23. Similar in many ways to the Chinese Super League a few years ago. Stupidly huge contracts to mainly aging global superstars. Back then they rarely bought decent defenders though so you had the likes of Hulk, Tevez & Oscar smashing goals in against awful defences, I know a few defenders have gone to Saudi so there may be a slight improvement in the standards. They did start televising games on BT sport (I think) and I'd watch the odd one on a Sunday morning, the games were almost unbearable though and seemed massively corrupt too given some of the decisions, VAR had been introduced then. They'll no doubt try the same with the Saudi league. The Chinese FA then started with restrictions, reducing numbers of players and 'charging' clubs a fee for making multi million pound signings. It all soon fizzled out, whether it will in Saudi remains to be seen, I imagine they have much deeper pockets there so may continue to P money away, time will tell........
  24. And they don't have 'jiffy bags' on.........(technically kraft coloured envelopes)
  25. They're Adidas Nemeziz boots as far as I can see
