  1. Mercer post your P/L for the season, I'm intrigued
  2. Bit deflated after the last few games, maybe the heartbreak in the cup did a bit more damage to the players than anticipated too? All I will say is we often play a bit better when there's not as much expectancy, so you never know. That said, we're somehow still favourites with the bookies to win... Think every man and his dog would like to see Wharton for Morton, hopefully Adam did enough yesterday to stake a claim. Best we can hope for is a 1 nil win, not getting my hopes up though.
  3. Yeah I don't quite understand the appeal of our games to be honest, for a neutral anyway. I remember when they used to show Leeds all the time when they were in the championship but we've eclipsed that this season for sure. I'd rather they show more league 1 and 2 games personally, they seem to forget they're even part of the EFL, they're also set for an exciting end to their seasons too.
  4. The benefits of a season ticket get less and less every season....
  5. Absolutely. After this game there'll be what, 2 games left. It's POTENTIALLY bigger than the cup quarter final if you ask me and demand was huge for that. It'll also be cheaper all factors considered....
  6. Exactly this. I'm sorry but if it's a huge game and people won't pay 30 quid then it's a poor do.
  7. We need to be still fighting by the time the game comes round or it could be a bit of an embarrassment...... I mean even if we are it won't be anything like the 28k or so we had for the midweek fa cup replayback in 2005 but still.... It's as expected and not unreasonable for a big game in my view, but I know many will disagree....
  8. No, it's you talking shite. I'm talking about the here and now, this season. Ipswich are constantly selling out and I've just given you an example on a Tuesday night 'sunshine' where they have done so. It's circumstantial, and in the circumstances it's a poor following, if you want to disagree I don't give a shiny shite.
  9. It's poor. It's subsidised on a bank holiday. Ipswich have had some real followings this season. They've sold the initial allocation to Barnsley, on a Tuesday night which is more than Norwich are currently bringing, expected to be around 5k with the next batch. So don't come talking shite about nonsense on social media.
  10. Everyone was pissed off about all aspects of that shower of a game, took a while but most of us got over it eventually, as should any player. Thought Norwich would have sold more on a bank holiday with subsidised tickets? Really poor from them regardless of sky. Ipswich would have sold out..... Interesting the player getting the most stick from our fans on here is listed as our one to watch on their site 😕
  11. Erm we pasted them in this fixture last season when it 'meant something', it'll be almost exactly a year on from that when we meet........
  12. Massive test on so many levels. Saturday was poor, but it needs erasing from the memory now, I imagine Norwich were pretty deflated too after a dodgy goal against them stood. JDT needs to lift the players big time, the crowd can also play a part. Its worrying the lack of experience amongst the players at times like this, time to stand up and be counted. I don't think it'll be particularly enjoyable I'm afraid! I'm going for a nervy 1-0 win, BBD with the goal after 8 minutes or so.
  13. Yep I'd be on the phone to Potter immediately! Great manager who's had some absolute shite signings forced upon him.
  14. I don't disagree, I'd prefer Wharton over Morton too. All I'm saying is it seems his exclusion isn't purely based on footballing ability. JDT has unfortunately had his options limited due to the incompetent backroom staff failing with transfers and Buckleys injury too. Ultimately I think the failed transfer is going to be the reason our season sadly fails too.
  15. Ask yourself why he's not playing? The manager knows Adam better than any of us, he's not afraid to play youngsters so there's clearly a reason.
  16. Not involved for the u21 game yesterday either I don't think? Unless he wanted to go the City game, again?
  17. Half expected it to be honest, the games after the internationals are usually a bit scatty, deserved a draw at least but never mind. Home wins would lead us to the top 6, Friday a must win. Its typical that Huddersfield click into place just before we play them too 🤦
  18. M6 is currently closed around Junction 30, may after some people's journey so key an eye on it re-opening....
  19. Curtis is quite frankly a fat wanker, he used to take great delight making bullshit stories up about our players in the Sun to try and unsettle them when we were up there challenging his beloved United.
  20. Sharpe says there's a "year option" - why are we still fannying about with these?
  21. New deal signed to 2027, he's had a bit of a wobble lately but sure most of us will welcome the news.
  22. When Kaminski arrived he had a unique (sometimes quite scary) positional sense, in that he was almost in midfield at times! Rightly or wrongly he's gradually been pushed back. Also when he arrived his distribution was better, it seemed to get a bit shaky after an injury the other season, from memory either a groin or hammy strain. Things like that can become mental (fear of reoccurrence). If he's now had knee surgery there's a worry from that too. Personally I think I'd be tempted to stick with Pears now till the end of the season to avoid rocking the boat too much.....
  23. What do you drive Chaddy? Appreciate this topic has gone wildly off on a tangent but I see no issues. Sponsors should appreciate this debate.
  24. I've got a 2ltr diesel and don't have to pay the clean air charge, only city I would have to is London.....
  25. Great news, I think the cup run has done a world of good👍
