  1. Mistakes happen, happy to wait for the ling sleeve Thanks for sorting
  2. RIP Birdy Did not know him but had a good chat in a bar in Cologne before the Bayern Leverkusen game a few years ago. Seen him at many away games from Celtic to Cambridge midweek on a wet Autumn night As others have commented 2nd to Jack as a superfan, which would have made him very happy! Fantastic he saw the club win the premier league
  3. Good team performance Hill was excellent and has been the games I have watched Dolan I have been critical of but looked back to his best and Tronstad does all the unseen bits every good team needs A couple of January signings and we will be there or thereabouts
  4. funnily enough I asked my wife if we had any this morning as my leather shoes insole is a bit hard and rubbing
  5. Another option is Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush 24 hrs is £15 used it for this year's FA Cup Final, so I am sure cheaper for less, easy tube journey from there
  6. He thought it was funny everyone cheered when Chelsea scored and joined in playing football the Vincent Kompany way, going back down.. He thinks Chelsea have turned a corner which they probably have
  7. Great day out in the sun.. Thought back four were very good, Britain looked v good as a right midfielder, JRC is class and Tronstad did all the nitty gritty stuff very well Sigurdson looks a star in the making As for the older QPR fan on that video, must have watched a different game, I took a Chelsea and Arsenal fan with me and they both thought we played cracking football Win the next 3 and back amongst it.. Belushis was OK but the Youngs Pub in Westfield shopping centre was easy to get served in and had plenty of room for anyone looking for somewhere to drink in the future
  8. It was £37 for a ticket in the gold section, whatever that was!
  9. Of the 1200 going which pub is everyone meeting? Belushi Shepherds Bush seems to be an away pub
  10. Yes I am going.. What pub everyone meeting in ? Is it Belushis?
  11. We won there 1993 I think it was that year 1st match of the season as I went
  12. What does everyone think of the Arsenal song - North London is ours - they play before every home game Personally think its very apt and a good song to enhance atmosphere at home games and make the ground a fortress Do you think with our history rovers could have one ? Interested to hear views? I was bored on a train the other day and wrote some lyrics for a rovers song, does anyone know a local band who may be interested to write the music?

  13. Just ordered one a very worthy cause thanks for sorting
  14. Great result and needed after Hull City. Dolan was terrible, play him against Harrogate and see if he can get some confidence but he contributed zero yesterday With Gallagher, Ennis and Sigurdsson when fit, Dolan should not be in the match day X1. Plus hopefully one more centre forward to sign, as Leonard currently looks lightweight to me
  15. Tickets on sale on the day at Watford is good news....will see how I feel Sunday morning
  16. been a couple of times, play-off semi final in 1989 was a great occasion and then under Souness Both victories Its not as bad as people say tbh
  17. joey Craig was garbage, these 3 better than some dross we have had Norman Bell , Lowey, Stonehouse etc
  18. Hedges Adam Wharton Buckley Ennis and Britain off the bench is strong, lets hope we are in the game when they get their chance Come on you Blues
  19. I am only concerned about goals, midfield and defence as good as last season and hopefully better with Wharton stronger and Buckley fit If we can get a double digit striker on loan or buy before end of transfer window we can challenge Keep the faith
  20. It is all about opinions but Botham opens the bowling with Jimmy, Jimmy highest wicket taker has to be in the side. Botham always used to in his prime so very happy with those two Stokes and Flintoff first change with Underwood to come and Root if required Flintoff would have a partner in the number 8 or below, easily knock off a quick 100. Jimmy and Underwood would never need to bat with the 9 above them
  21. its garbage ECB should have invested in T20 Blast, at least they have a supporter base
  22. I started watching in the 80's Gooch Cook Gower Root Pietersen Stokes Botham Stewart (WK) Flintoff Underwood Anderson Boycott (too slow a scorer ) Willis, Knott, Broad and Lamb in the squad Best openers, 3 best all rounders Stokes playing when he could bowl , 4 brilliant new ball bowlers, best spinner, Stewart edges Knott for his batting, 1-9 brilliant batsmen
  23. Another awesome Eng Batting display today If the weather does not save the convicts, Oval will be a cracker and we would be favourites
  24. Used to meet up with London Blues and was a member circa 2001-04, still active I believe Happy to meet up for beers at South games and join a whats app @Bethnal
