  1. Huge credit to the board for this signing. The most exciting signing in a long time. Chuffed to bits.
  2. Like we are ever going to catch them mate. Anyway, stop thinking like an accountant and just watch the game. As a football fan, tonight was incredible.
  3. Thats all that needed saying really isn`t it?
  4. JIm MK11 and any english football fan showing negativity to Liverpool after that. If you are english and wanted an Italian team to win you are not a football fan in my opinion. Just bitter and twisted. How anyone can begrudge Liverpool that win is beyond belief. And yes Thompson was a bit over the top after the game but give me one good reason why he shouldn`t be. Bloody well done Liverpool. Fantastic game.
  5. Jim is full of it. People shouldn`t bite although his response to AS was well out of order. AS pointed out an error that the typical journalist makes ( the word nonce ) and has to put up with abuse from the other attention seeking tit on the MB ( step aside Rover6 ). Why can`t the 2 idiots post honest opinions that they themselves belive in rather than wind up material. As for Le Saux, anyone from that 95 team is a hero of mine. A special era with Ewood rammed on match days. Happy days. If you take out the glory hunting money grabbing nonces from the question!
  6. eh? I`m with USA Blue. I`d like to know where my recent posts have been.
  7. I`d be disgusted if he signed for us and admire Shearer even more if he was true to his word and smacked the little @#/? whether he was in blue and white or not. An obnoxious little man.
  8. If " rumbled " means premiership safety and a day out in Cardiff then rumble away.
  9. Being in the best premiership defence this side of xmas.
  10. So Jim, what is your angle on events? You`re very quick to link to other peoples views.
  11. Has anyone ever bloody considered its nobody`s fault. Sometimes the skill of a quality forward will undo a defence. Any defence it just happens and you have to say " that was a good goal " rather than " that was poor defending ". There has always got to be a bloody scapegoat. From where I was sat and with emotions runnning high, I had no idea V.Persie`s goals were as good as they were until I saw them on t.v. I certainly did not stick on an anorack and analyse every defenders position. They were class goals against what has been a class defence. Deal with it.
  12. Can the folks going tomorrow evening do one thing. Give Todd a good cheer.
  13. I was listening to talksport this evening. One of the chaps ( can`t remember who ) claims he knows Colin Todd very well. He has had many a conversation with Colin when Colin has blamed his son Andy for being out of order. Apparently Colin has always been very honest about situations Andy has found himself in and called it appropriately. On this occasion, Colin is defending Andy and says it was completely accidental. That says it all.
  14. The worst AESF rant ever. Complete crap. Couldn`t help but notice it was also Todd that gave us fans the best reception at the end
  15. I know its been mentioned before but I can`t get the moment out of my head. It was when Arsenal`s 2nd went in. What a response from the fans. It was worth going for that moment alone. Only 17000 of us but it restored my faith.
  16. I`ve spoken to many fans of many clubs since yesterday and none of them think Todd did that on purpose. The lad ran in to Todd`s shoulder as they were both watching the ball hit the net. It was only after the contact that Todd flung his arm out to push him away. Not pretty but not on purpose. Still proud as punch to be one of thoses rovers in that stadium yesterday. I was also playing spot the Jim mk2 because I knew the old bean would be there. Saw about 11 versions. Seems there was a fair few of us in block UN3. I was in block 640 row18 seat 25.
  17. UR SOON HOME!! Must say I thought the same of our resident " expert ". 17000 fans at Cardiff were awesome. Rover6=Roversicks Anyway, enough of that tit, we can`t blame the goals on anyone. Once we were forced to attack, Arsenal picked us off for the 2nd and 3rd. If there is 2 things I have learnt today it is 1: Arsenal really do dive and bitch and moan and I can see why Man.U hate them so much....bitching,diving,moaning foriegn cockneys 2: Our hard core support is awesome. When we are all lumped together in one end of a stadium we are the best. Very proud to be a fan of the Rovers tonight.
  18. Just back. Really enjoyed the day. Spent an hour and a half in " The Gatekeeper " Wetherspoons. Met some relatives in the ground. Bad result. But we were there. Oh, to the fans that went, we did ourselves proud today. The standard has been set.
  19. Just phoned " the gatekeeper ". Its a wetherspoons on west gate street just outside the stadium. They open at 10.am
  20. Surely the answer is in the question. The west stand?
  21. Thats one of the more sensible posts on the situation. Can`t wait now. Anyone elses week dragging?
