  1. They literally got promoted playing the same way (and troubled a lot of PL teams last season with the same style).
  2. Who is Dolan outrunning?
  3. You'd expect them to have a good squad when they've spent over £140m on players in the last two seasons. Of course that didn't help them embarrassing themselves last season, but with competent management they'll have too much for most teams this season.
  4. Not as good as Szmodics though. Nailed on for relegation are Ipswich - spent a lot of money on Championship players this summer.
  5. They must have injuries, right? Playing a load of kids and look shite. To be fair they only went up last time because two career journeymen #9s had the seasons of their lives.
  6. The haircut doesn't help - looks a right twat.
  7. Another one out the door - any injuries at the back and we're stuffed. It's amazing how efficient we are at pressing the right buttons when we need to isn't it?
  8. Vale is good technically - you can see that. He just has nothing going for him physically or mentally.
  9. Have they paid for Brewster yet? Scummy operators.
  10. I don't think anyone was patting themselves on the back over Telalovic. He was a desperate cheap punt after the owners turned the taps off again.
  11. Then he goes to a poorer team in a weaker league.
  12. They look like they met on the car park for the first time at 3pm today. Nailed on for relegation.
  13. Lowe is a fabulous signing for them.
  14. He looks rough for 38 too.
  15. Tronstad played nearly 3,000 minutes of Championship football last season. We were lucky he was mostly injury free. Travis loves an injury / a loss of form and Buckley is a bust at this point. Any 3rd CM we loaned in would see A LOT of minutes - 'backup' or not.
  16. There's no point wasting a loan spot on a lad that's 4th choice. Loans have to improve your starting XI (or your bench). We have a very good Academy to rely on for depth.
  17. Both? It's an absolute meat grinder of a season with long periods of 2 games a week. He'll play a lot as our 3rd CM.
  18. Even if that 21 year old has largely been crap and is living off the fact he's a Man City Academy graduate and had a professional footballer for a dad?
  19. Modern day players are literally worth more than their weight in gold - so I guess the question is, how much is a John Bull worth?
  20. Sadly it says PAOK are interested too, so we'll have to haggle.
  21. We could do with him carrying on his form from last season, as he did against Derby on Friday night. I think it'd quickly allay fears that he's a one season wonder and someone would pay whatever our asking price is for him. We'll also obviously benefit in the short term too.
  22. I think they're just trying to get his wages off the books tbh.
