Gueye clearly isn't slow - neither was Gallagher, but one swallow doesn't make a summer. When Hedges / Dolan / Weimann are the trio behind the CF trying to get up and support him it's glaring. You saw before when Hedges drifted inside from his LW spot - he looked up to play a ball out wide to the LB and Pickering literally wasn't in the picture.

That's a penalty - Weimann wasn't offside and their LW just scythed down Tronstad in the box.

Yep, we've been crying out for it for years and they continue to neglect it.

I think he'd score 10 if you played him all season - it's the chaos he causes that's the main point though. He holds the ball up, he closes down, he wins flick ons and he makes very intelligent runs. If he could finish he'd be in the PL.

Brittain isn't fit, JRC is a utility man (although arguably his best performances have come at RB) and Duru has a handful of senior games under his belt. Carter has more than a season playing RB.

He was never effective in CM - he's far too soft for that. He's a #10 and not athletic enough to play anything else. Sadly for him we had Szmodics in that position last year.

I think we had the balance right at the start of the season: Gueye starts games and allows us to dominate, Ohashi finishes them when everyone is a bit more fatigued and chances fall to players.

Carter is much quicker than JRC and even he's struggling with their winger.
