  1. Well if we had Leeds' budget I'm sure we'd have banged more past Swansea.
  2. He'd have roasted Pickering. I bet he's glad to get back on the bus after playing Beck.
  3. Gueye had a tap in if Dolan rolls the ball across the goal instead of shooting. He had nothing to feed off today, again. We don't put any crosses into the box.
  4. The lack of pace is startling - they had a break from a corner (why Beck is taking corners and not sat as our deepest player I'll never know) in the second half and pretty much every single one of their players was outpacing ours as they all streamed into our half. You see it every game - after about 20 minutes teams realise we can't hurt them over the top so they play a high line and press us in our own half. We had multiple opportunities today to slide through a player / bang it over the top for someone to run on to, but Hedges / Dolan / Cantwell / Gueye / Ohashi / Weimann simply aren't quick enough for that style of play. Thankfully Eustace has set us up to be very difficult to beat.
  5. It's been Radio PNE for a long time.
  6. That's my team too, albeit I believe Brittain played for the U21s the other night so probably isn't available.
  7. Why doesn't it make sense? Dolan seems to be the first name on the teamsheet and he's a terrible football player. If managers were perfect they wouldn't get sacked all the time.
  8. If he starts Pears tomorrow then we've wasted another £1m on a GK.
  9. You know how this story plays out.
  10. Cantwell is going to quickly learn not to pass to Pickering in attacking positions - that's twice now where he's put a killer ball into Pickering and Harry is too slow / switched off to get to it.
  11. He's very soft mentally, unfortunately.
  12. It's so hard to enjoy football when a LB throwing himself to the ground at the slightest bit of contact is rewarded with a FK.
  13. Pickering is sooooooooooo slow. He misplaced a headed pass then and their RB was literally galloping away from him with the ball.
  14. They can't get up with him and apparently nobody can cross either so he's nullified.
  15. Assume Gueye is injured because I absolutely wouldn't have taken him off.
  16. Honestly it's petulance. He's a child .
  17. How the hell has Dolan picked up 4 bookings this season? He's an attacking midfielder ffs, he doesn't even have to tackle.
  18. It's a very even game - they've just taken their one chance.
  19. Plymouth breaking up play with multiple fake injuries.
  20. Considering the chance their Burnley striker put wide was a foul on Batth (well, judging by the fouls he's given against Gueye that is) I wouldn't hold out much hope for him refereeing this one in our favour.
  21. It's why 50 points was always the target I was eyeing when we were undefeated. It's a really, really mediocre set of players.
  22. I always have to chuckle at footballers rolling around in agony. You see what Rugby League or American Football players endure and it's embarrassing.
