Gueye, ACD and Cantwell should all be on at half time. Hedges has been crap.

Tronstad is too good for this league - he's a cracking player.

He's just so slow. If he's caught out of position at any point he's absolutely toast.

Because he's a better all-round footballer than Hedges and Dolan, so if you're just playing your best XI players he gets on there (or at #10 if you accept that he won't create much).

I'd rather play the bloke that provides us with better balance at #9, yes. I'd be happy for Ohashi to play at 7 or 11 and float into the box, I just think Gueye provides so much more for the team.

Imagine watching your colleagues miss a blatant bite by a PNE player last week and then giving Hedges a yellow card for a dive this week. Clowns. Every week.

I think unless you get a creative player at 7 / 10 or 11 I'd rather start games with Gueye. He holds the ball up and brings others into the play.

He creates goals.

I don't think he's as quick as people are hoping. Quick enough that the half a yard his skill buys him opens up a lot of options, but he's not a flying winger. I'm more interested in his quality on the ball - Dolan and Hedges have little, sadly.

We didn't look like conceding either. Neither team really got going (PNE were determined not to let us hit them on the counter) which is an unfortunate side effect of these noon kickoffs.

If the FA refuse to charge him then Rovers' next step is to approach the police imo.

I think he's very much a CM doing a job out wide until players get match fit.

Currently? None, that's why they're picking up minutes in the U21s. In the future? Well I don't see them train every day, but Toth, JRC, ACD and Cantwell would walk into my starting XI on talent.

He gets into the team because he's a good athlete and a good footballer (touch / vision / reading of the game / work rate) - his end product is just diabolical.

So I've just read that Beck has got a 3 game ban. Surely not?

I felt sorry for the Carlisle lads to be honest - Toth, McFadzean, JRC, Buckley, Cantwell (and at a stretch a highly rated Brighton loanee) is half of a Championship starting XI.

Not if he's taken off after 60 minutes. They're clearly building him up to match fitness. Remember JRC has looked like he's running in treacle through games and they gave him almost all of this game to get him back to fitness as he's at least had a pre-season.

I think he started with the wrong XI. That said he brought all of our attacking option off the bench at some point, it just didn't work - Cantwell clearly isn't match fit, Cozier-Duberry is a 19 year old playing Senior football for the first time and Weimann can't score every week. I still feel like we lack pace in the side - that changes games.

I gather that's his modus operandi regardless of the opponent away from home.

I thought we were poor across the park today - we simply didn't get going. I was disappointed that Eustace stuck with a 'winning' team - he should have been braver and started Gueye from the beginning. Hopefully Dolan and Hedges leashes are becoming shorter and shorter - they offer very little going forward.
