  1. Another good save by Toth - which begs the question, why has he been sat on the bench all season?
  2. Yep. You just have to look at the lack of athleticism in the midfield between Forshaw (who clearly still reads the game well, he just can't move any more) and Buckley and the Travis / Tronstad duo. It's night and day.
  3. I'd like to keep him as a bench option - there's so many games to play during the season that he's a useful squad player - but he's not a quality starter.
  4. Can I ask why a player with perhaps the worst first touch I've ever seen consistently plays #10 for us when he comes on? Woodrow is a 6'+ carthorse - why is he playing behind Ohashi?!
  5. Forshaw and Woodrow on to calm things down.
  6. This Tronstad bloke should shoot more often.
  7. We're just beating shit teams - it's a really poor quality league outside of the top 3.
  8. Makes up for the ref refusing to book their players. Let's call it even.
  9. It was over in January when they let 6 games drift by without reinforcing the squad. Eustace leaving was the nail in the coffin.
  10. He lacks a little bit of acceleration - if you can get his feet stopped you can run past him as a quick winger.
  11. Besides his finishing, Ohashi offers nothing upfront - nothing sticks.
  12. Well he's already made two saves that Pears wouldn't today - so I'm not sure what you're basing this on.
  13. Brittain leaves his man for dead - (Honeyman?) and the Millwall player just rugby tackles him. No yellow card. Good stuff.
  14. Ohashi missed an absolute sitter. Good lord.
  15. £8.5m for a start. The joy of watching an Academy product play and succeed for us?
  16. Using the leverage of the rules to bend the club over so we had to sign him to a deal with a release clause well below his value? Yeah, I have no time for Phillips.
  17. He simply wasn't ready for first team football when he played for us - showed flashes, but looked raw. We wouldn't have signed Sanderson or Batth if he'd have stayed, so he'd have got plenty of football for the club that discovered and nurtured him. Alas he's a Judas mercenary.
  18. No, probably not, but I can't morally financially support this club any longer.
  19. We've been dealing in cheap loans and journeyman free agents rather than marquee cash signings (Dack renewed contract, Armstrong, Gallagher, Brereton-Diaz) for the last 5 years and the wage budget hasn't decreased according to the accounts. Ayala and Downing wouldn't have been cheap either. There's absolutely no way we're even sniffing the wage bill of that side you listed. Who is the money being spent on!?
  20. I've always liked the phrase 'cock womble'.
  21. We wouldn't be able to function - you need someone (or a consortium) who can find the funds to initially buy the thing (whatever nonsense value the Venkys put on it) and absorb tens of millions of pounds a year in losses whilst you got the club back on it's feet.
  22. As much as I hate the owners and their stooges, we haven't missed Lenihan one bit.
