  1. I'm definitely at the point of double checking the spelling of names before posting - hopefully they become second nature before Christmas. With regards to the outgoing players - Travis is a loss, but Buckley and JRC (he never recovered that form he had during JDTs first season) aren't and quite frankly I'm glad we've been ruthless and moved both on.
  2. Could you imagine him trying to play against Tugay? 🤣
  3. He's the type of player that keeps you in a game, but he doesn't win games for you. He's also a paper tiger - tries to play the hard man, but we all know he's soft. He's not an enforcer.
  4. He makes Dolan look like he's standing still.
  5. Ismael (who I'm on record as not particularly liking) was asked a question about Travis and answered honestly - he's asked to leave and he's let the team down. I have no problem with that. It's not a hatchet job. Travis' camp's reaction tells you they're very unhappy with that as they were trying to quietly slip out of the door into Eustace's arms as the hard done to hero.
  6. Again, the family feeling died a long time ago.
  7. Interesting little tidbit from the manager there, that they'd been after Morishita for weeks. We genuinely hadn't heard a sniff about it.
  8. Ah c'mon that's too far. The heart was ripped out of the club many years ago. Players like Buckley, Travis, S. Wharton wouldn't have got a sniff when we were good.
  9. It'll be a short twitter post like the one above.
  10. Hedges fired it wide - so you don't need to give him any credit. A player making an excellent run and not being passed to isn't his fault.
  11. So you saw Hedges miss the sitter he laid on his plate and also Cantwell greedily not releasing him when he was through on goal then?
  12. His pace opens up the game for others - you have to respect that he can run in behind with ease. With Dolan you never had to be scared of that. That'll create opportunities for Cantwell et al.
  13. He's unfollowed us on Instagram, that's about as official as it gets.
  14. Kargbo has pace that frightens the life out of teams. Dolan couldn't outrun Pickering. That's clearly an upgrade, if he can stay healthy. Weimann was an impact sub last season - his legs have completely gone.
  15. I hope so because Soumano's highlight tape is incredibly underwhelming.
  16. You'd soon notice the difference if your employers started paying you in Euros!
  17. Is he willing to be paid in buttons and accept being put up in the Training Ground?
  18. One thing that's been impressive this window - they've kept their targets under wraps. We only tend to find out about them when they're booked in for their medical - which is why we knew about Baradji for a few weeks before he signed. Suspect we haven't heard who the targets are - the Senegalese lad, the Bolton lad etc seem to be wide of the mark.
  19. Would not be surprised if Hyam is ushered out of the door for a million or so before next Monday.
  20. Tavares will count, he came through the Leicester Academy. Guess we'll be naming a 23 man squad then...
  21. Ah, they clicked the 'Recommend signing' button when signing Ohashi and Ribeiro then...
  22. What happens with Toth if he gets a cap for Hungary? International caps appear to be the decider for a lot of these ESC applications.
  23. How many do we need? Hedges, Hyam, Wharton, Carter Alebiosu, Pickering, Montgomery, GK, Cantwell, Tyjon...
  24. We've brought in far more than £7.5m and absolutely slashed the wage bill. So no we're not spending money - we'll be in the black when this window closes.
  25. Got to sign another CF and CM first - easier said than done with this lot.
