They're both old school LBs - neither can really get up and down the wing (Ribeiro can do it more than Pickering, but he can't get back if he does) and I'd imagine they're both sub 5'10". Ismael clearly values height at CB. You could probably get away with Pickering or Ribeiro at LCB for a couple of games in a 3, but evidently he doesn't think they're up to it - or yes there's some silly clause that's going to be activated if they play more games. I still don't think Hedges let us down at LCB last game.

Cos he's 5'8" and slow.

An Academy graduate. Recalled him from a loan at Chorley. He's 22 - think he was highly rated at one point, but has had a couple of bad injuries that have stalled his career - people who watch the Academy can probably confirm / deny that.

Clear as day that they built the squad for a 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 formation because Pickering and Ribeiro are absolute spare parts in this formation and we don't have a backup for Alebiousu.

I'd bet everything I own that Wednesday will turn that club around quickly after administration. A fan gave them a £1m interest free loan the other day to pay wages. They have multiple buyers lined up. Meanwhile we have the Venky death grip around our throat strangling the life out of us.

Pass the tinfoil hats out. He's clearly picked up a knock. The problem being our medical team is so poor that they're unable to diagnose it - or worse still they have diagnosed it and don't want to share it with the fans because it's a bad knee injury.

If he plays consistently I bet he scores at least 5 goals this season. His value is playing further forward - if we persist with this 3-5-2 (or whatever you want to call it - the system with 3 CB, 3 midfielders and 2 Wingbacks) he has to be given a free license to roam forward. When he played with Morishita they both went, leaving TGH isolated on his own. You'd have the same problem if he played with Cantwell too - although Cantwell is more capable of sitting in than Morishita is.

And there will no doubt be 80 cases listed next time we're up. What a crazy legal system they have.

This commentator has it in for Wharton. He's nicked in and won the ball back cleverly a few times - he's always attributed it to another England player. They also criticised him for firing a pass into Kane - who was asleep and let it run past him. "Got to keep possession there". He did his job - advanced the ball quickly to a teammate. Not his fault his teammate wasn't paying attention.

It's an amateur team that happens to wear our kit at this point. They've been hung out to dry.

Each to their own. I can't convince you otherwise - and evidently if you're deluded enough to think you could win a race against professional athletes in your mid-40s I'd be wasting my time to even try.
