Honestly we'll get blown away in the playoffs. We simply don't have the fire power to overcome a good team that's flying at the end of the season. Still, I'd love to get there - it'd be positive progress.

His transformation as a player is remarkable. He was once a highly thought of youngster, but he obviously dropped off to the extent that we were looking to loan him this summer. Besides his attacking work - both down the flanks and drifting inside to play CM (credit to JDT and his Assistant Manager for that gem btw - Travis drops back to RB when he does that), his defensive basics are lovely to watch. I love seeing him nip in in front of a much faster wide player and wall them off on a through ball.

The moaning and groaning when we're playing the ball around the back, looking for that incisive ball to a CM (where Buckley et al turns on it and runs into acres of space when they beat the press) grinds my gears. "I don't like this! Get rid!" etc is what you hear around me. I think they'd much rather we just hoof the ball up to Thomas and Gallagher and try to feed on the second balls.

For the record we had 54 points and sat in 3rd at this point last season. We'd just started our Death Spiral.

It was Vale, so I'm not sure even I'd pass to him. That said, he didn't see him - he didn't even look up, he only had eyes for goal.

He's been good since he's come back into the side post-Christmas. Really interesting to see that they have him dropping in to cover JRC at times. He provides a bit of mobility, intensity and fighting spirit in the middle, which is always needed. Also interesting that he brought Morton on for Szmodics, i.e. as an AMC. I wonder if that means they've finally given up with Tyler at CM cos he's so weak defensively? John Buckley was my MOTM btw - fantastic performance tonight, absolutely ran the show.

A win would top off a great run of results, but we just don't score enough goals for me to ever be confident in predicting a win.

Being brutally honest I don't think he's good enough for the Prem - I wouldn't offer him a contract if we went up.
