  1. A lot of squad players, if you're a strong team - but either way they're assets that can be sold if they're under contract. I much prefer this to letting everyone slink away for free.
  2. That's certainly one thing I won't miss when he leaves. We've made absolutely nothing of his Chilean adventure as a club - a massive missed opportunity - but we've had to suffer multiple inconveniences (and an annoying, rabid fan base / football authority).
  3. I'm on a Miami Hurricanes board that has a tendency to go very off-piste very quickly. They have a fan they bully too - so it's not too dissimilar.
  4. I've heard the CEO has walked tonight.
  5. But, and hear me out, wouldn't it be funnier if we gave everyone else the entire Darwen End?
  6. So Wigan are down then. If they're refusing to train surely it brings the competition into disrepute? I'm all for all results against them being void...
  7. It's an easy point scoring exercise for him.
  8. I think that's more our failings than anything to do with Italy. I'm still not over losing that final - the biggest bottle job I've ever seen.
  9. You sure? The penalty miss against France says otherwise.
  10. Whoever made the decision to reduce their allocation to 2,000 has played an absolute blinder. Their reactions are hilarious. Utterly hilarious.
  11. It's a massive game for us. Putting a 7 point gap between us and 7th at this stage in the season would be a massive mental barrier for the chasing pack to overcome.
  12. Is Walker an actual prospect? Seems to score quite frequently, but I don't think he's ever been on the bench for the first XI.
  13. Did I see that the EFL have handed a 3 point deduction to Wigan this week? Quick to hand those out, but the Sheffield United case rumbles on - funny that.
  14. Imagine if we were promoted via the Playoffs and they sold us to competent owners... the stuff dreams are made of.
  15. If we beat Birmingham we give ourselves a 7 point gap to 7th - that's massive psychologically.
  16. Signed 30 players and forced a bloke out the door 6 months after signing him for serious money. Oh and having a sanctimonious tw... as a manager.
  17. The potential points deduction for Reading could hand one of Wigan / Blackpool/ Huddersfield a lifeline. Curious to see what the EFL does there.
  18. I bet City are torn - on the one hand it would be good experience for the players and, realistically, whether they play or not isn't going to make a difference to the final result. On the other hand, sods law is they scrap a winner.
  19. Maybe he just doesn't like us? Where's he from and who does he support?
  20. I'm more worried about our attacking options, or lack thereof, than Phillips having to get a game or two (he should have got more time on the pitch this season anyway).
  21. You mean Ryan Mahrez, right?
  22. The most exciting thing is that we only started one (MASSIVELY OVERRATED) loanee today. Admittedly Brereton-Diaz is probably walking for free in the summer, but that's such a good base to build from.
  23. If we had an actual striker we'd be pushing for automatic promotion this year - of course we'd then need an entire new team in the Premier League, but that's by the by. Sod O'Brien, our inability to bring in a proper striker on loan in January will ultimately be our downfall this season.
