  1. I sympathize with him. Thrown in, out of position, at RWB when he wasn't fit and held the fort down. Now he's been unceremoniously dumped - I'd be looking to leave too.
  2. Very naughty from Archer that. Injures the Blackpool keeper with a reckless tackle, then shushes the Blackpool away support when he scores.
  3. Hedges has yet to start a game and has about 80 mins total on the pitch since he arrived.
  4. Some of them weren't allowed the time to do a worse job...
  5. Mowbray consistently gets favourable coverage - whenever we're on SKY, rather than calling him out as a moron, they simply say we're having a poor run of form, but he's a good manager. Our card was marked with the Kean protests ("how dare little old Rovers complain about the treatment of their club - they should be grateful anyone wants to own / manage them") - and quite frankly that's why I don't bat an eyelid when teams go under. I hope Derby are next - the football community turned their backs on us that day and I feel nothing for any of them now.
  6. He has delusions of grandeur - I gather it's because he's a bit thick. He fancies himself as a tactical genius - I recall during the 2021 death spiral that he didn't feel the need to explain his tactics to the fans, as an individual who has been involved in football man and boy he was simply operating on a different level and it wasn't worth his time. If the Venkys offer him a new contract there'll be one more empty seat in the Jack Walker Stand next season - I can't stand the bloke and his ineptitude.
  7. They'll come down with huge PL parachute payments and (I assume) Dyche. The roles have been completely reversed from the 90's / 00's. They're a significantly stronger club than we are at the moment. Thank you, Venkys.
  8. He had a bad game as a LWB until we reverted to a back 4, then he played well as a LB. He's simply not athletic enough to boss an entire flank on his own.
  9. Their #17 should have been sent off for twisting Wharton's leg / ankle on the ground. He went on to score the equaliser.
  10. Bloody typical for us to run into the one ref in the league that punishes teams for time wasting when we're out on our feet with an injured RB and no subs left.
  11. Assume you're not watching the game as he's given us nothing.
  12. 6 extra minutes in the first half too. Awful ref.
  13. We're 9 minutes into extra time - and the lad that should have been off has scored it. This ref is shit.
  14. #17 for them should have been off for that - he twists Wharton's ankle on the floor.
  15. We know it works with Dolan as a False 9. We know it works with Nyambe as a WB. He's asking players to do things they're not capable of with this starting XI - same as it ever was under Mowbray.
  16. 1 win in 16 last year proves that the results don't matter - I used to feel like you did until then.
  17. Van Hecke is going to get himself sent off. I don't question his heart, he's livid with those he's playing with (and against) today.
  18. The system is fine (albeit I don't think we'll set up this way next year). Asking JRC / Pickering to play as Wing Backs, Buckley to play as a False 9 and Giles to play as a Right Inside Forward is moronic though. It hasn't worked for 6 months.
  19. I can't understand why Wolves aren't on the phone asking us what we're playing at.
  20. JRC is as bad as Pickering in terms of being completely out of his depth as an athlete playing WB. He was jogging back on that break, doing the old "look at your feet willing yourself to go faster" rouse for about 10 yards before giving up the chase.
  21. The formation isn't the problem.
  22. Pickering isn't athletic enough to play as a WB. He gets exposed every week.
