  1. You should have just named the lineup except for Pears.
  2. He is a Danish man, he's better than Zidane (at managing)...
  3. Thank fuck the lad hit the bar, think they could have taken 100 penalties against Pears and notched them all if they were on target! Also thank fuck my radio battery held out until about 3 seconds after the miss!
  4. Hope that gets the other miss out his head at least.
  5. BBD scoring against a Prem side after less than half an hour on the pitch won't do his market value any harm.
  6. Hopefully Hyam is a penalty pro. Fairly sure we still lose this on pens, but it should be morale boosting to finish level with a Prem side. Yeh not a full strength one but neither are we.
  7. That'll be that then. Sounds like Antonio has been a pain tonight.
  8. Christ, not sure why we're bringing Brereton on any earlier than the 70th minute if at all.
  9. Edun's pass for the goal was very good though. Putting it mildly.
  10. Commentator just saying it's the third time he has been outmuscled, for the goal.
  11. He seems to be taking one of them finally.
  12. Well that's about the last way I expected this game to start!! Good for Jack Vale, hopefully this spurs him on
  13. Yep, no surprise at all he hasn't made it. Think he is good enough to break back in, but the timing meant it was never going to be for the WC.
  14. It's more or less the route I'd have gone with it, and most on here probably...although Pears and JRC give me kittens. I'd probably have played Kaminski, the risk of injury to him is very minimal, but since Pears is the backup, perhaps too much. Accident waiting to happen though that lad. And JRC just wouldn't have been playing for me, don't feel he has a future here. I'm expecting at least one goal to come from an error from at least one of those two.
  15. I can't imagine he will. If it were in a few more months maybe.
  16. I know the Burnley game is much bigger for us, but it feels very odd for it to be pinned whilst a game we play tomorrow isn't.
  17. Odd claim. 122-127-year old club with 3 FA cups and a European Cup Winners Cup. Never fallen below the second tier. Now in their 65th season in the top flight I believe.
  18. JDT doesn't seem to rate him, and our discussion won't change the outcome. But it's not a pointless discussion any more than every single discussion on this forum is because, with very few exceptions, we can't impact any of them. But if we didn't have discussions just because they won't change club or managerial policy, the board would have died a very long time ago. The point of forum discussions isn't to change outcomes. Yeh I expect they would prefer to go down south given their origins, but Manchester is a fairly thriving upcoming city, there are a lot of beautiful sights in the NW, lots of very successful, rich footballers seem to enjoy living up here in Cheshire etc. If their lives have been deemed interesting enough for their own show (I wouldn't know, not touching it with a bargepole) I assume they've got enough going on here to feel settled. But at the same time I won't be surprised if she is trying to force the club's hand to sell him. The more unsettled he is, especially publicly, the price will probably go down.
