  1. I missed a few chunks of the game but I saw Bell fuck up royally on at least three occasions. Nyambe meanwhile, was rampant.
  2. Joe Garner plays for Wigan.
  3. I feel like sofascore either didn't see Nyambe play, or every time Bell did something shit they thought it was Nyambe. Miles off on his score. A machine again. Anyone who thinks he scored the same as Gallagher, Walton and even Holtby tonight doesn't even know what a football is.
  4. Really? 5 degrees according to google.
  5. This comment has completely confused me. Has something happened to the river?
  6. Yes. The only poor player we have on the pitch. Gave them a corner when the ball was going out of play. Sent a cross flying into no man's land. Sloppily let them through one time without committing a challenge. Dog shit. Desperately need a new LB. Still.
  7. O'Connell, and he wasn't let go on a free. If I recall it was rumoured to be about 500k. He went to Brentford, not Sheff United, and they sold him on.
  8. Happens every year. They put in the maximum amount that FFP allows you to put in through owners issuing themselves more shares. I'm guessing 5.3 million is the current limit on that. Wouldn't expect it to mean anything in particular for transfers. Unless the delay has just been waiting for the usual influx.
  9. Not sure why you think Lenihan is one you 'can't see us keeping him again this summer'. As far as we know, we haven't had a bid on him since we got relegated to League One. No links to Travis either, ever. I'm sure we can extend Holtby's contract. We may even have an option to do so, we seem big on those lately. I am also worried about regressing next season with TM at the helm though. Not to a relegation degree, but I feel the rebuild job is set to be too big for his limited skill in the transfer market and with FFP looming.
  10. Same points total as this time last season, pretty sure the LT said that.
  11. Sure, but you appreciate that goes both ways though, right?
  12. As a neutral, I need to tell you it's because you're almost always unable to provide him with a convincing counter argument. You repeat yourself because you don't have a better argument to offer even though your first wasn't convincing. You keep saying things like 'I already told you I think'. He knows what you told him you think, he's a smart guy. He's trying to tell you, you might well think it but your argument doesn't stack up because x, y or z. If you dont have anything new to reply with, I'd recommend you don't reply instead of repeating yourself to all of us. Hope that helps. I'm not trying to have a go, just telling you how it comes across.
  13. That would have been all well and good to say 12 months ago, when this appointment should actually have been made. Then we would now be talking about the dividends. Like I said before, we should just go out of our way to steal Brentford's France scout.
  14. Any chance you could share any of the names?
  15. He can literally only go to Wigan though is the thing. Or those very specific leagues with different season timetables. Was it like, Australia and the MLS?
  16. He said big departure and you said he is right but more than one. Am I right to assume you meant more than one small or fringe player departure, rather than more than one big departure?
  17. If we get all his wages off the bill I'd settle for that, unless he was going to a promotion chasing team. We aren't going to use him.
  18. Don't have time to check if this has already been posted. Championship interest in Smallwood
  19. Bit strong. I take it you're taking the piss and don't expect posters on here to be experts on medical insurance nor the vagaries of FFP?
  20. Probably the way he has only scored 3 goals this season and doesn't look as clinical or fit as last season. Armstrong is comfortably our best striker at this point, not Danny. Different type but clearly looking more dangerous of late than Graham.
  21. That's how you get stuff done...
  22. Mostly agree, but... Nuttall is a definite yes, never a no. Cost barely anything, contributed goals, and was sold for half a million. It was a good deal, worked out well. Almost paid for Dack, that! Downing contributed, steadying the ship for us a couple of times. We did make a loss on him as we foolishly let him go for free and left ourselves short, but I don't consider it a fail. Rodwell filled a gap and probably didn't cost much, so just a 'meh' one for me. Chapman, Davenport, Lyons and even Brereton have to go under 'not yet' for now. Though I'll be astonished if Brereton makes it. Lyons probably isn't gonna get a look in because we are ludicrously high on numbers in his position, but he cost sod all really and always looked like a cheap youth team gambit that nothing was expected of, to fill a space for the u23s.
  23. I considered asking it too, but knew a quick Google would tell me. Saturday.
  24. And we also feel the cold more when we get back, and find the re-transition a bit depressing...
  25. It's high time we signed Ryan up to a proper contract instead of that insultingly short one we signed him up to last year. 4 years please. The longer we wait the more his wage demands for it are going to be.
