  1. I did assume he would have somewhere lined up but like you said he may have second thoughts if they are changing manager.
  2. Michael Morrison would be one that we should be all over.
  3. And I missed Manchester United signing Dack.
  4. I like Jedinek but he’s 34 now so I dont think he would be a good option.
  5. Definitely the type we should be going for. Young and coming towards the end of his contract. They would want a fee for him but it should be within budget and wages shouldn’t really be a problem. Only worry is that his performances will have attracted interest from others so not sure if we would get him or not.
  6. Really good post that. I would like us to go for Matt Clarke as well. I work in hampshire and some colleagues are Pompey fans and rate him very highly. Not getting promoted may mean he wants out. Jarod (Bowen) will probably end up at Everton who have been monitoring him for a long time.
  7. Just catching up and laughing my head off at Phil linking Dack to Manchester United. I’m sure that’s just the signing their fans are looking for lol. Never in a million years will they be looking at Dack.
  8. Howler from Bell there
  9. I would be happy with any of the three. I thought Gallagher was decent last time he was here but some people who watched him more weren’t so impressed. Out of the three linked I have to say Austin would be my preferred option. Would fit straight into our system and take the pressure off Danny Graham.
  10. I think it’s a bit harsh blaming us not having a CB on Mowbray not signing another one in the summer. It’s rare to have 4 players in one position all out at the same time.
  11. Shame we let him go on the cheap when we had him
  12. Breretons ‘effort’ was embarrassing. Absolutely shocking effort from a so called striker.
  13. Don’t forget Jason Lowe captained England at youth level.
  14. Duplicate accounts??
  15. Wow, you know it’s bad when not even Chaddy has been able to come on here and attempt to put a positive spin on it!!
  16. Brereton looks like a lad who’s won a competition to play. He’s been awful. Surely we don’t have to give Forest £6m for him!!
  17. Brereton in the box with 3 v 3 and chips it to the keeper. Woeful
  18. I hope he’s a player, I’ll be gutted if we’ve spent £7m on a plumber!
  19. He’d made a big deal of celebrating their goal in front of the away end and generally being a bit of a bell end so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’d intentionally left the foot in and then panicked when he saw what had happened.
  20. The article which I typically can’t find now was accompanied with a pic of him signing a contract at Rovers wearing a rovers training kit.
  21. I’ve just read on Facebook that he’s signed for our academy after joining from Liverpool. He’s been tagged as the Irish Messi and was at Barca before joining Liverpool. Anyone else heard anything about him joining? He’s still only 15 so definitely one for the future but he was hyped up as some sort of Wonderkid a few years ago.
  22. He’s scored 8 goals and had 5 assists in 10 games this season Mercer. How much more do you want out of him??
  23. Delighted with the three points but I dont think the change to three at the back did us any favours as I said on here during the match. We’ve tried playing it before and it’s my view that it just doesn’t work for us. We started last season with it, lost the first two games and then we’re forced to switch back to a flat back 4. It’s a formation the players seem more comfortable with. I’m not a fan of changing formation mid way through a game unless something major changes and you are chasing a win. I don’t think yesterday needed a change as we were comfortable for the first 20 minutes. I would assume that the players trained on the basis of playing the formation that we started the game with hence why we maybe didn’t look as good after the change.
