There’s another 10 minutes of my life I’ve wasted on the Chaddy show! Was hoping for some interesting transfer chat but not going to happen with the Chadster in the room. I’ll go back in a corner for a few months again.

Gutted for Brereton not getting the goal he deserved. He definitely wasn’t the only player to slip though.

Just noticed that Jack Colback hasn’t had a game for Newcastle since 2017. He’s still quite young and could be worth a look. I would be happy with Cunningham.

I wonder who will be taking a punt on Jordan Ibe. Soon to be out of contract after his £16m move to Bournemouth really didn’t work out well. There’s a player in there somewhere and he’s still only in his mid 20s. I’m sure he will end up staying in the premier league with someone but I’ll be intrigued to see how his next move works out.

Rangers have announced that Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan have both been released. Flanagan looked very good when he broke through at Liverpool and he’s only 27. Wonder if he could be an option at full back for us. I don’t know a great deal about Halliday. Maybe someone with a bit more Scots football knowledge can add something.

Weirdly it’s kind of where I think we would finish. Looking back frustrated at some silly dropped points over the season.

That’ll teach me for posting late after a beer lol. I meant to say a win would take us to 6th if a draw was the result between Bristol and Preston. It’s an interesting end to the season as I could imagine that game being a draw so if we are within a couple of points of them both at that stage we would definitely still be in with a shout.

So tomorrow would have been the final day of the season but it’s not to be. FM have predicted the final results and have us in 8th going into the final game just 1 point behind Preston and 2 behind Bristol City with a better goal difference. Those two play each other whilst we head to already relegated Luton. A win for us takes us to the play offs. It’s all being virtualised on the Skysports live blog from mid day tomorrow. I did Salzburg and Bayer Leverkusen away that season and it has to go down as one of my best times in football. Good friends and not a care in the world. I remember the 0-0 at home against Leverkusen. I had agreed with my boss that I would be at work (in Hereford) by 10:00am as I was going to catch the 7am train home. Ended up getting to bed at 7am, waking at 11am and having to make an awkward phone call to my boss.

The Chelsea semi final for me. Every time I have the misfortune of watching it I think Gamst is going to score that header.

I was surprised that RSC was our highest fee received as I always thought it was Phil Jones. I know we had a lot of undisclosed fees around that time so I do wonder if we may have received a higher fee.

Hi all Wondering if anyone can assist. I need two Tugay pics to go in a frame with a signed shirt. Looking for two portrait pics of a decent enough quality that I can get them printed (without any issues around copyright obviously). Has anyone got a good source for pics? Looked at GettyImages which has a lot from the era that I’m looking at but it’s not easy to just buy a print for personal use. Just wondering if anyone has anywhere else where I could source a decent quality image. Looking for the 06-07 season ideally. Bet 24 logo and the last of the Lonsdale shirts

I think that’s just down to the Large number that he bought at the same time.

I did check those but it’s got the prem patches so defo league. We had the weird letters for UEFA cup games that season as well. It’s a season full of memories for me as I did a load of the away Europe games
