Ideally I guess we could do with an experienced midfielder who could be available to loan for a few months. . . . . . I'm sure there's a guy kicking his heels in Madrid who we could borrow until the Summer.

Rover6, Just noticed that Cieron Donnally, you remember him don't you, he's the lad from the youth team that you felt should be playing in our first team when you had never seen him play, well he's now on loan at Southport in the Conference.

heapbag, surely in that case you could say that having a PS3 will be like having a more expensive PS2. The graphics and power of the Wii are far better than the gamecube.

[Archived] Should Dunny Have Come Home?

I guess Bruce has had a rollicking off his Chairman for his " we just can't get the boy fit" comment. Not really the best ploy when you are trying to sell someone is it. It does look like pretty much a dunn deal....... I'll get my coat! -
LDRover, prepare for the verbal kicking!!! I didn't have it each way Oh well, some you win, some you lose

I don't think they will get rid of Les Reed. I'm sure I read somewhere that he had been given a fairly long contract. -
Christian I'm in the same boat as you. They are the only two places that I won't go to. She's happy enough for me to go but she has said that if it's isreal or Turkey she is going to put her foot down. I suppose, Heaven Forbid, we could take them with us!!!

Stu, I've already told the Mrs that I'm going, also told her the date.' Grow a pair and tell her that you'll take her out when you get back

Why's that Oklahoma, you got a big garden that we can all camp in??

Your wish is my command SAR and Jan, because I've obviously got nothing better to do!!!

I think Roberts was first choice, it's just that he's never been fit for us. I'm sure Hughes was looking at Roberts and Benni as his front two. Roberts can win things in the air and put defenders under pressure, and we all know what Benni can do on his day. -
Cheers Brownie. Just took great delight in emailing a bluenose from work. He's a Dunn fan, makes it all the sweeter.

Zulte-Waregem for me. Nice and cheap to get to Belgium. -

My comments from watching it on the box. To be fair, yet again, we had a l;enient ref. They should definitely have had a en in the first half, they also had a good shout for one in the second half. Lucas was lucky he didn't make contact with Kim when he went through and hit the post. He made a lunge for a ball that he was never going to get. He was last man and would have been off. Derbyshire's movement was good, he kept making intelligent runs down the channels and pulled the CB's out of position. I'm sure he would love playing with Tugay, unfortunately the midfielders were not getting the ball in behind the defence enough. I didn't actually know Bentley was playng until 35 minutes had gone. The camera zoomed in on him and it was the first I had seen of him all match. Nolan came in and did ok, I thought Jay did ok as well. He got caught a couple of times but looked bright going forwards. I'm dissapointed with the way Lucas reacted to the goal. He had not played well and hasn't for a few games now. He's bound to take a bit of stick, he should be big enough to handle it. He had a good opportunity to win over some fans in the BBE but ruined it. All he had to do was celebrate the goal with the rest of the players. Instead he made all of the effort to run to the BBE and have a go. Shame really. To be honest I thought the commentators had a point. We were poor last night and got away with it. We were also lucky to not be well behind against Basle but somehow got a 3-0 out of that one. I'm not sure what game Hughes was watching, but we weren't the better team last night. At least that's it now until mid feb when I can look forward to another European trip. Book me a room Orvil, I've got permission to give Valentines day a miss this year, so I will be off away again. -

Todd and Ooijer could be a very useful cb pairing.

I'm certainly not going to bit Jim, I know what you're like and what you are doing. I'm sure someone will shortly though.
-
Jim, surely even you can't expect someone to bite at that!!!

I can't belive that people are saying we ar too good to go down. That is not a reason, the West Ham team that got relegated was full of internationals and had iirc correctly finished 6 or 7th the season before. We are certainly not too good to go down, we need to start picking up results soon. I was actually pleased Newcastle picked up points last night, hopefully they won't have quite the same motivation as they would if they had lost. I'm hoping for a good win on Saturday to lift everyone.

I guess it's not after this one Lee. Hereford won 4-0 today
-
Umm, that would be the case Theno, if he was actually at Barca. He signed for his home town club in the summer. He's been in the Swedish league for the last few months.

Instead of both reporting each others posts try ignoring each other. It's much easier.

Fulham have won 3 of the last 4 ties at Ewood. Very tricky but one we need to win. -
Hereford away, for obvious reasons

2 home 3 away. We've been saying for ages that it would be nice to have a red and black halved away shirt.
