  1. Think our Paul had sunk a few, always the worry with Friday night posts…
  2. Not sure, these three are of a different level than what normally comes down. Watford and Norwich haven’t pulled up any trees since coming back down in 2022. If it’s say, Luton, Sheff Utd and the Dingles next season are they going to walk it with squads packed full of quality like the current 3? I doubt it.
  3. I don’t disagree with the sentiment about those that appointed him and I can’t say I find the bloke particularly inspiring in interviews. But ‘out’? You’re a sensible poster, SuperBrfc, you know the next bloke will be appointed on similar terms too, they’ll never have a free spirit like JDT in the place again, so let’s hope the first company man they employ gets it right as there will be plenty more where he came from on the carousel.
  4. He’d been here about three years before he’d even been interviewed to camera (and that was a panicked one with the in-house media team after the Brockhall plan had been rumbled). Then he disappeared again from public view until JDT decided to put him front and centre. Any fanbase wide ‘engagement’ he’s done he’s had to be dragged to.
  5. Rovers manager plays player = a good idea by Rovers manager. That’s about as far as the analysis goes.
  6. A club that had only sacked one manager (and even that was far too late) since 2015 too…
  7. It’s £30 in JW Upper. It’s a Saturday game so it’s £25-£30, nothing else enters the equation (well unless Swag thinks the away side will fetch 4k+ and then it’s £30-£35).
  8. The 👀 are out so defo true. I mean that summer war chest really pushed us on.
  9. Cheers for the insight. Letting him know what a nice lad he is will definitely come in handy against the PNE defence.
  10. Eustsce: ‘Sam Gallagher is a gentleman’… yeah that’s kind of an issue for a 6 foot 4 Championship centre forward.
  11. ‘To be an established and sustainable Premier League club is the aim’
  12. With on the day sales probably be c4600 by KO, so not too bad all things considered.
  13. Plenty will get sold in the run up, Wrexham was pretty much empty until about the Thursday before.
  14. Maybe I’ll have to watch him sometime… but it ain’t yet.
  15. Of course, we’ve collapsed since December, and the last fella obviously takes a good share of the blame.
  16. The town centre will be full of Rovers fans, just don’t go in with colours on display.
  17. We’d won half our games! We were a point from the play offs. I know you don’t do away games so you were annoyed with the home defeats, who wasn’t, but facts are facts. (Though I see you’ve tried to move the goalposts to poor performances now, which is obviously subjective).
  18. Doesn’t matter how many times you repeat it, it hadn’t been a poor season as we entered December as the points tally and league position at that time makes clear.
  19. It was a poor run that was turned around as a spot just outside the playoffs going into December shows.
  20. We were a point outside the play offs going into December after winning 6 games in 8. The slump started in December.
  21. So now we don’t have to play the one way as this is what ‘increases value’ in the squad? Hard to keep up with all ‘the models’ at this club.
  22. It’s 100% on the owners as he continues to be in post with their blessing.
  23. If we’d have won lat night we’d have been closer to the play offs than the bottom 3. Shows just how well we were going as we entered December (and how tight this league always is, parachutes aside). Been a calamitous loss of form since.
  24. Behave, Phil, it would be 100% on these owners as you know very well.
