  1. The club will be in non league and it will still be nothing to do with the owners or CEO and ‘squarely’ the fault of the poor sod who happens to be in the dugout.
  2. We are playing absolutely wide open, I don’t think BBD going can be used an excuse.
  3. But then again he didn’t have us playing like this game after game last season, we ground out plenty of results.
  4. It’s a very difficult one but at some point does the Trust have to just draw stumps and say ‘that’s that’ with this ownership and their Blackburn based board/representatives?
  5. Nothing lasts forever, this ownership won't either. But it has been so utterly ruinous on and off the pitch the worry has to be what on earth will be left to build from when they finally do, once and for all, fuck off.
  6. Why would any of this turn round with a bigger support?
  7. Obviously isn’t ’simple as’ here…
  8. And we all trudge down there again. If you are a ST holder that struggles to get to night games (as many do) you won’t have seen us win a league game since the 21st October.
  9. At best a Brighton, at worst (dare I say) a Burnley.
  10. Of course not, and all that extra £3/4million would do would allow the owner to put less in themselves. But you need to remember the fans making these daft claims don’t have the first clue about football finances.
  11. He isn’t a useless head coach. Very good near season and a half, terrible two months says that. However he is seemingly ‘useless’ in trying to implement a pragmatic way of playing - but then again we were often pragmatic last season. So does he even want to attempt it? Seems to me that he knows he’s going sooner rather than later and he’ll just crack on with his methods to the bitter end - so in reality he needs removing. But I don’t think he will be.
  12. He obviously isn’t useless as last season showed (and this up to December).
  13. Always makes me cringe when actual journalists call them ‘The Venky’s’ it’s like calling the Issa brothers ‘The EG’s’
  14. The club obviously weren’t. As for Travis he’d be likely to be back in the side right now, it’s a long season and three weeks after he was sent away Wharton was out the door.
  15. Nope, I imagine we’ll see just how low it can go this summer…
  16. The summer of 2012 when they inexplicably kept him on destroyed our ST base at a stroke and it’s never recovered.
  17. You really think JDT wanted two of his very few experienced midfielders to be loaned out?
  18. A little surprised but delighted with the Blackburn End yesterday. We often forget that not everything is played out online. Yes, this place is vehemently anti-Venky, and on the flip side there are plenty elsewhere across social media still sticking with these owners (as infuriating as that is to us on here) - but the match goers are just as, if not more important and for plenty to go after them (and Waggott who will be fuming that his submarine style management hasn’t stopped him from getting it too) over singling out the easy option which is the head coach was a very promising step forward.
  19. So you don’t think wage bill concerns were anything at all to do with Travis and Buckley?
  20. Why do Dingles celebrate these owners if they are in anyway a good thing for Blackburn Rovers?
  21. ‘Creates division’ where? On here with a few dozen other folk who largely agree with him? It’s his opinion. Mine is that a lot of fans struggle to realise there is a difference between ‘supporting’ the club by blindly backing who runs/owns it with wanting the best for it and calling out those that are doing it harm.
  22. You don’t get ‘lucky’ after 46 games (50+ if you throw in good cup runs too). He did a very good job last season.
  23. Is he the biggest issue engulfing Blackburn Rovers? Of course not, but at the end of the day has this squad cost substantially less than PNE’s or are the players substantially worse? Looking at the table they must be, but I’m not sure. The wheels have come off completely and his methods, his ability to get a tune out of these players looks to have fallen to pieces. At a normal club he would be sacked tomorrow, that’s the game, this can’t go on, and I say that with a heavy heart as I’ve been a huge fan, but in a club in crisis is he the man to get us out of this plunge to the third division? Let’s hope so as I still don’t see him going till May.
  24. You need to put an invoice in to the LT for the amount of work we do for them.
