  1. That means the old ticket office in the Blackburn End that now only opens on a match day. The Roverstore is the ticket office the rest of the time.
  2. They could sell to who they wanted, and they did - but they shortchanged themselves with it being sold for peanuts. Clubs not particularly bigger than us were being sold for three/four/five times that a few years later.
  3. Football has completely changed since they sold due to the explosion in TV deal value post 2013. If the Walker cretins has held on a little longer they’d have had people banging their doors down - shame there wasn’t a brain cell of business nous between them.
  4. He’ll be sent on loan to play… but after trebling (quadrupling?) his wages. It’s the modern game with the ‘big 6’ who just pile up young lads.
  5. That’s a big Ipswich contract by the way before we have to coax Rev down from the nearest ledge.
  6. Depends, a lot happens on the back of the team’s performance on match days. We go a couple down, and you could well hear something. We get two quick goals and everyone relaxes and you’d imagine it’d be more stuff aimed at Deadpool and plenty of ‘Who the fucking hell are you?’ towards the Darwen End.
  7. That’s all I have left these days.
  8. No chance they’ll be bringing a keeper in anytime soon (well, not an experienced one at any rate). Just need to hope Pears is steady enough.
  9. It was a bit of a gamble for the Beeb to pick it with Ipswich being at home. Could well have been one way traffic and not much of a spectacle. So fair play to them.
  10. Over £20 million pissed up the wall on Dailly, Blake, Davies and Ward. We really did throwaway our position at the top table post ‘95 remarkably quick.
  11. Yep, Mike, and like I said earlier that would nowhere near have been the case post one of their previous banal statements. So I’m more than heartened that the fanbase is waking up from its post 2017 slumber, so something to work with - yes not everyone, not even particularly close to being everyone, but it never was going to be, some are far too gone, but there’s a groundswell again and it’s been a long time coming.
  12. You need to remember that for some fans all they see is these owners ‘putting in £20 million a year’, so the issue must actually be the empty seats and that is purely the fault of the fans that don’t fill them, nothing at all to do with the owners that our crowds have collapsed this past 14 years. So of course that £20 million is needed because said ‘shit fans’ don’t come and we need to be ever so grateful to Pune.
  13. League 1, Bolton and Bury, it spooked a load of folk into submission, it’s as simple as that. You rarely heard any of this tripe pre L1 relegation.
  14. How would that happen? You have to give your name and postcode so they can check the database as you buy.
  15. Amazing that some of these clowns think that a club that has only spent seven seasons in its history outside the top 2 divisions, with a famous name, founder members of both the Football and Premier League, one of only a handful to ever win the PL, with a good stadium, with a Cat 1 Academy couldn’t possibly, ever, find a new owner. It’s literally some conglomerate who has to pay the bills via the Indian High Court or death.
  16. But what I would say is there are *a lot* of other replies telling them to sell up, that they’ve ruined the club etc - I’d wager you wouldn’t have seen much of that a year or so ago. The tide is turning (but let’s be honest some folk are that dense they’ll never get it).
  17. Some canny feckers inside that club. Talk about ‘social media speculation’ and it is easy to brush off as hearsay and conjecture, with fan backing - especially when you have a compliant local media who feel it is ‘’sensationalist” to talk about anything off the pitch unless it’s lifted directly from the Fans Forum minutes. Shame they don’t put anywhere near as much canny-ness in to have a thriving football club.
  18. Yep, hands up, I thought we’d have about 6k there… it will actually be about 7,500, if we want to call that kind of turn out the magic of the cup, then ok, sounds a bit small time like.
  19. There will be c15k there… good job we never will see the PL again as I don’t know how the various ‘stakeholders’ would cope with actual big crowds.
  20. ‘Badly advised’… though to be fair that’s heard everywhere but brfcs…
  21. Waggott wants to stay out of League 1, that was his on the record stated aim.
  22. ‘Yeah well the manager agreed to these players, so on him if they aren’t doing it’.
  23. I was hoping for a statement on letter headed paper again with their egg based coat of arms.
  24. Obviously we’ll get a load of shit (from our fans as much as anyone else) for the crowd. But what’s gone unnoticed is that our early round cup crowds have gone up a decent amount under JDT. 7/8/9k instead of 4/5k. Makes a difference when you have a manager that actually tries to win them.
