  1. 800/900 for a red button midweek in February. Nowt wrong with that.
  2. They have and it can't continue if we want to stay as a Championship level football club.
  3. Great for a booze for PNE away though.
  4. Let’s hope they slink back to non league as soon as possible. Half their crowd are Rovers fans anyway.
  5. He obviously has very low standards if that is what counts as the best ownership in the country. What do they do in the local area too?
  6. Yeah the daft bugger dropped his phone on the lower tier little roof thing and then clambered on it to retrieve it, from what I could see they were being left alone before that.
  7. And that’s all fine and dandy but having your third paragraph as the club’s priority in no way guarantees the fourth will even happen.
  8. Looks like tickets are now on sale towards the end blocks… they certainly weren’t close to them a few days ago!
  9. Well we’ll soon find out about this ‘framework’ Eustsce supposedly has to work to. Maybe the club should start getting its priorities right and realise this is a professional Championship football club with an academy. Not an academy with a first team that gets to play in a pro league.
  10. I don’t think it’s ‘weird’ at all. It shows a connection to the club. Like if a Birmingham manager calls them ‘Blues’. If they don’t say it, fine, end of the day managers, players come and go, they aren’t Rovers fans, but it was a nice touch from JDT and I appreciated it, if it makes me ‘weird’, then weird I be.
  11. He’s still a professional, and the lack of it at this club will surely lead to frustrations.
  12. He has a different public persona, it doesn’t mean he won’t get frustrated with it behind closed doors.
  13. But then he has shone a light on Swag and Suhail, no more submarine management for them.
  14. It’s the ‘The’ bit that grates on me. Makes no sense putting the definite article before a brand name.
  15. The only manager that has ever used Gallagher properly was Coyle.
  16. No arguments there, how many players have come in and out of this club since 2012? And how many have actually left any kind of positive impression on your memory?
  17. He was also down to be Chief Ball Fisher for when we were back at Pleasy post them flogging off Brockhall.
  18. Suhail is still here, isn’t he?
  19. End of the day that’s footballers for you. Just like Chaddy, they’ve moved on immediately and the king is dead, long live the king. If removing a manager is all it’s taken for them to stop sulking, fine, just get some results. It’s why I don’t particularly get attached to them. It’s a transactional relationship both ways.
  20. Remember around Covid when the area around the JW Stand was an absolute shit tip and he tried to weasel out of even just getting someone to walk round with a bin bag ‘as it is not strictly on our estate’.
  21. First item on the agenda £800 STs for those ingrates on the Blackburn End.
  22. The one in the Riverside stayed for the duration. Largely positive reaction, and at least the ones near me who would previously have been all ‘just get behind the lads FFS’, ‘who else we gonna get to buy us’ kept largely quiet. That’s a big change from even a few months ago.
  23. There’s a bit of a blinker mentality with your own players, ‘he’s crap’, ‘he’s not good enough’. Well compared to the players we saw before this lot darkened our doors, Dolan, as an example, is obviously not close to their level, but he’s well at home in the Championship, so is good enough for the level he/we are playing at. Outside the parachute clubs most players don’t stand out as anything special (and that’s why Adam Wharton did like a sore thumb) so they spend their careers down here and as clubs don’t have the funds to get ones that are any better there’s a shitload of them across the league.
  24. Rapid avatar change there, Chadster. The king is dead, long live the king
