  1. Considering STs are the same price as last year, well for existing ST holders they are, I imagine match tickets will be too, so £30/£32 for Cat A, £25/£27 for Cat B and £20 midweeks.
  2. ‘Pure dog?’ No idea what that means, but do I want tickets to be more reasonably priced? Note, reasonably, not given away, as you keep trying to put words In my mouth over - yes I do. But nice try to try and link my view on that to deflect from the fact that you behave like a 12 year old at matches.
  3. Lenihan is 28 and had a chance to sign a last multi year contract that would transform the life of him and his family, so he took it. That makes him a ‘greedy bastard’ who deserves to be chanted at? How sad.
  4. ‘RFS’, ‘10 Bet’. Since leaving the PL it’s been a long procession of ‘who they?’
  5. How do we know that? Some will have been holding off for that, certainly, many more will have all kinds of reasons for not doing so and wouldn’t be renewing whoever was appointed. We’ll see if the third deadline has done the trick for getting a good number to renew this time next week.
  6. End of the day there’s just over a month till kick off and we no longer have the services of Nyambe, Lenihan, Van Hecke, Rothwell, Khadra and (in all likelihood) BBD. That’s over half of the first choice side gone, plus other squad players have departed. It’s some job to have us ready. Let’s hope GB has the contacts, and an actual budget that can be competitive in this league because it looks a bloody big rebuilding job to me.
  7. I dread to think what sales would be like if TM’s contract had run for an extra year.
  8. He won’t resign, so he should be removed from post. However, that would mean senior executives being held accountable at the club. The yearly failure over ticketing shows that constantly missing targets means bugger all.
  9. Almost! Late 90s/early 2000s.
  10. Oh yeah! I’ve completely removed the lockdown football period from my head.
  11. Yes didn’t Venus end up with a second title of ‘Head of Football’ of something? Suppose his business card didn’t have room for ‘Head of Real Estate’ too…
  12. That I do agree with, we’ll see in a week. However, plenty of those 2.5k just won’t renew, every summer plenty don’t for a plethora of reasons. So to push that appalling 7.5k to something remotely acceptable we need plenty of new and returning fans to not only take their place but to actually push sales on - you know those Rovers fans that have to pay a £30 surcharge for the same product for god knows what reason…
  13. League game in July? First ever?
  14. 11 games by mid September, glad in a way that they have decided to front load the fixtures pre World Cup instead of a miserable midweek game every week in January/February
  15. Cheers for posting transfer links Chaddy, but do we really need some of these anonymous Twitter attention seeing accounts with one man and his dog following them?
  16. The days of local games at Christmas and New Year have long gone. No public transport? Tough! Case in point, nice easy trip for Cardiff fans on NYD!
  17. Unfortunately unless you are a ‘big 6’ club the media think the casual football fan will only pay a blind bit of notice to any other club if they have a connection to an ex superstar player.
  18. Yep, just those extra 3/4K, taking you from a 12k to a 15/16k crowd really makes a difference at Ewood.
  19. It’ll be Sunday 12pm, Sky or no Sky you’d think?
  20. Though some of those 7k are probably complementaries, a grey dot is a grey dot. So in reality we’ve less than 7k paid 2022/23 ST holders as of last week.
  21. Exactly, so what’s your point?
  22. We’ll also have a load of complementaries and staff tickets, as does every club.
  23. He knows this as he’s been told repeatedly, so he’s being purposely disingenuous for some unknown reason (well we probably do know), or he really is this slow on the uptake.
  24. For about the third time, they are post early bird prices. They signed 12,000 up before these prices kicked in. These were the prices:
  25. Come on Darren, players always say the right things, but if a good enough deal comes in, he’s gone, end of.
