Doesn’t mean anything either way. You’re Twitter isn’t representative to the whole fanbase, it will be skewed to folk like you, passionate Rovers fans. Who we need to worry about is the wavering ST holder and the floating fan that don’t engage on Twitter but will quietly walk away.
-
Another season has gone by since we started hearing all this, no change. Another set of STs released, no change. They (whoever they are) need to pull their finger out or there won’t be much left to change…

Are we getting anywhere regardless?

Attendances: A cause for concern

And that’s just in the BBEnd/Riverside, £489-£529 in the JWU, for a middling second division outfit that has hardly won a game in months, I’m sure that will get the floating fan charging down to the ticket office… -

https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/april/22/2022-23-season-tickets-out-now-/ On sale before the end of April, wonders never cease… ‘The club is aware of the financial challenges facing fans and their families at present, as such, Rovers are rewarding supporter loyalty by [EXCELLENT, they are finally getting it, so what’s the deal then?]… holding prices for current Season Ticket holders* up until Saturday June 4th [oh]’ But what about getting newbies into the tent? An extra £30 for you, so that will be just the £429-£529. ’Cheap as chips’, indeed, as they go on sale at a minimum of £400-£500 in the midst of a horror run and we journey into into real financial headwinds as a nation… roll up, roll up! -
Amazing how they just come out with the exact same stuff on their ‘Plastics’ thread twice a season, just the mere mention of ‘Blackburn Rovers’ is a Pavlovian trigger for them. And the stuff about the town of Blackburn makes me laugh, like all Rovers fans are living in bed sits up Bank Top and not spread across east Lancs (and shock horror, PR postcodes! 😱)

Plenty of mid table/safe teams at home is all you can ask for in a relegation battle, and they’ve got a fair few…
-
@SuperBrfc The owners are completely to blame, as manager wise, they can nip in the bud all you outline and remove them, long before it becomes as stale and shambolic as it has here.
-
It will need a manager, this one has got that deep into his tactical bunker - false 9s, wide forwards and on it goes, you will need fresh eyes at Brockhall for any chance of a system playing to the actual strengths of the players.

They were filming a few weeks ago, and put it this way the ones I know that were part of it wouldn’t exactly be rocking the boat… -
I don’t expect a performing seal on the bench, but the body language of TM has been horrendous in recent weeks. Doesn’t engage with the players, his staff, the officials. Whilst pretty much every opposition manager is a bundle of energy, cajoling his players, running things past his coaches, in the ear of the fourth official etc etc…. Our fella? Just leans against a wall, or wanders around, yards from anybody throughout, so is it really a surprise to see a reflection of it on the pitch?
-
But the manager is just an employee, and should be removed if he’s stinking the place out… and is at every other club.
-
Dread to think what the following will be, even most of the away regulars I know, that pitch up everywhere are swerving it…

He thinks a load of things have improved - so are you not enjoying this new dawn? He gave us a long list, starting with; community work (fair enough). He then pointed to - Improved club structure. Improved commercially. Improved methods of getting fans back… I’ll let others be the judge -

And Kean getting booed *after* we’d just scored against Swansea, which was pretty novel. But as you say it was very intermittent at Ewood that season. Fan vs fan rowing in the stands was more prominent, as I know all too well! -

Obviously worked a treat those bundles! -
Community Trust and building bridges with the Asian community? Yep, definitely progress. Kudos to the team. Academy? An ongoing positive, yes, but not ‘progress’ as it’s the actual one constant success, and they even tried to hobble that by flogging off Brockhall just last year. What commercial progress? What efforts to entice back fans?
-
All very plausible Paul, but didn’t we hear pretty much the same thing (maybe from yourself, but certainly others) this time last season. This is just not a normal club when it comes to inside gossip, and I won’t believe it until I see him with scarf raised at The Hawthorns…

‘Twas my point, Tyrone…
-
Ok, so enlighten an uneducated oik like myself to how the ownership and accountability are not connected?
-
Just 1864 trying to make sense of how he’s been led down the garden path by Waggott et al over brews and custard creams…
-
And those are two mutually exclusive things, how?
-
Must be crossed wires, I would take ‘tasty’ as in ‘spiky’, ‘grudge match’, ‘an edge’… ergo Dingles, at a push PNE and Bolton, not a trip to the Bet 365.

Owners don’t let managers off the hook, they sack them… unless it’s BRFC. So yes, all roads lead back to Pune.
