  1. I remember you saying that last season, you then admitted you’d not seen the game and Dolan was man of the match 😉
  2. 2 ACL’s - It takes time and he deserves all the time in the world.
  3. Same time last season we lost to WBA at home and beat Forest away midweek. Very good win today against a club with resources way beyond our means, I’d take a draw at Reading to cement this start.
  4. Lucky to be leading, West Brom by far the better side, but goals win games, can we hold on.
  5. A packed Blackburn End looks superb in the Lancashire sun.
  6. I watched 'Trainwreck' Woodstock 99 on Netflix earlier this week, very good watch and far from Woodstock 1969. They built up the atmosphere extremely well on the documentary, worth a watch for any music fans.
  7. What a talent, apparently they found song writing tough 😂 Genius, RIP Lamont.
  8. Haven’t you been blaming Benson Venus and Waggott for the past 4yrs?
  9. We’ve not won a cup competition for 20yrs, it’s hardly a Mowbray phenomenon.
  10. That man was a complete and utter c**t.
  11. Respectable turnout that, from both sides.
  12. Dack is finished, he’ll never come back, we’ll never see him in a Rovers shirt again, going out on loan……. Another load of Bullshit, courtesy of Brfcs, good goal Bradley, takes a certain level of fitness to get on the end of that.
  13. I think you've answered your own question Jack. It was a Speedie/Shearer moment for me, having not seen much of Tugay at the time I was baffled, but that didn't last long!!
  14. Norwich are a yo-yo club who have invested well, bought well, selected managers well and retained players on big wages when needed. They’ve had 6 seasons in Premiership whilst Venkys have been ripping the heart out of our club, that money has been put to good use in East Anglia, but pissed away in Pune. For me, it’s no comparison, but Norwich are a club we should be looking to emulate.
  15. Norwich had the best squad and most expensive squad in the division, head and shoulders above the rest, awash with Premiership money, Fulham were the same. The only way to get out of this league is with a big budget and big wages, its proven year in year out. As one or two have said above, we can't compete for a full season with the bigger squads and bigger budgets, as we found to our cost last season once injury and international call ups hit. But we'll give it a good go.
  16. Mrs says a visit to Georgetown is a must if you’ve got the time, she was there a few years ago. Pubs, restaurants, museums, waterfront, cobbled streets, bit like Blackburn 😉 great place by all accounts.
  17. Money talks in this league OJF and we don’t have any. We have a worse squad than last season right now, a couple of shrewd signings will not be enough in my opinion. But I have everything crossed you’re right, I really do 👍
  18. Exactly what happened last season if you recall, then he got injured and spent his time on planes between London and Chile. We are not going up this season, sell him now or give him a new contract, simple as that for me.
  19. Your dad is right sgg, here's a great pic from the night.
  20. Courtesy of Andy Bayes Twitter - 1980 final home game after promotion at Bury midweek. More footage than I’ve seen before and the fans in good voice.
  21. The numbers are hypothetical I’m not doing the deal and why would we pay his contract up? I assume you’re happy for him to leave for free next summer?
  22. I'm not bothered how we do it as long as we secure his services. We did the same for Rhodes and how can we forget Alan Shearer and his £4000 a week which eclipsed every play at the club. To watch £20m walk away for free is criminal.
  23. Its dead simple, break the wage structure, offer him a new deal worth £40k+ with a buy out clause above £17m. Letting players walk for nothing is an absolute disgrace for a club in our position, its criminal.
  24. Isn't he one of the strikers we tried to sign last season?
  25. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/35004-v-swansea-city-h-7821/ We beat a pass happy Swansea side last season in the opening game of the season at Ewood, plenty of comments about style over substance for the Swans, thats clearly not changed! Diaz and Gallagher with the goals and a horror show from Kaminski for the Swans. I particularly liked this courtesy of @davulsukur
