  1. Plenty of posters, me included, have been saying for 2 seasons now that the squad isn't where it needs to be in terms of quality and numbers, this isn't a reaction to a win against an extremely poor Watford side at all.
  2. Tomasson could have all manor of reasons to not be playing the players to mention M_B and I know for sure he wouldn't want to be relying on the likes of Philips and Wharton if he didn't have to. Last season we clearly lacked quality and numbers when injuries and suspensions hit, we are worse off this season in my opinion and that could lead to a relegation scrap this time around.
  3. Not much footage of the game, Charlton away, Rovers won promotion 1958. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JpEre63cNvo Rovers ran football special trains to this one, the gate was over 56,000.
  4. Cellar Bar Blackburn 2007 - Free gig: The Courteeners. Now selling out Heaton Park in 20 mins, but they’ve stayed loyal to the town and it’s fans.
  5. Some posters are going way over the top, I get the felling some of you thought getting rid of Mowbray was the only thing between us and promotion.... The squad is weaker than last season, the managerial team are new, the formation and style of player is different and everyone needs to calm down and give the manager and his staff time to bed in. This season is a write off already for me, the Sheff Utd game set the bar and we are miles away from being candidates for the mix up come May, if we manage a mid-table finish I'd be overjoyed to be honest. Can I just add that the 800 Rovers fans that made that trip yesterday deserve nothing by credit, its tough times out there right now and that support was tremendous, despite the poor result. Onwards and upwards.
  6. Me and everyone else clearly….. You've been slagging off JDT since the first few games of the season. Anyone who understands football will tell you the guy needs time, the players need time, simple really.
  7. You put forward Kompany as an example, who has spent £20m, I need say no more……. Tripe.
  8. Absolute tripe. This season is a write off, the new regime needs time to put its stamp on this young side and hopefully they’ll get that time. If posters wanted continuity and another crack at the playoffs immediately, then Mowbray was your best bet.
  9. At least you chose Notts instead of Luton. Safe trip home pal.
  10. Isn’t that why we work? To line our own pockets? The vast majority don’t do it for the love of the job, are football managers different?
  11. Please stay away from the burnley game Jim, we’re going to need all the help we can get!
  12. Yes I saw that, but to be honest I can never remember us winning at Luton and I’m sure Jim wasn’t at them all.
  13. It’s in the blood Tyrone, you know that.
  14. Trent Bridge looks empty, Lancs fans used to pack these finals out. Sign if the times I guess. Going to be tough this chase, but we can do it, come on.
  15. Football without fans is nothing. Swansea V Hull City 12.30pm kick off. Hull to Swansea 284 miles.
  16. In true rigger style: “Repeating the same line over and over again doesn’t make it true”
  17. The last time I was in Luton, was to catch a flight to Eindhoven to see England lose a 2 goal lead, to a Luis Figo inspired Portugal side, in Euro 2000, we lost 3-2...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMn7I3rImWk Hoping for a better result today, but still bearing the scars from Reading and Sheff Utd away, I'd take a point now. 1-1 Safe trip everyone.
  18. Mowbray advising a scout to move to Sunderland isn’t anywhere near the top of my ‘massive issue list’ Chaddy. Why Sainsburys have delivered the wrong brand of coffee on the other hand is…..
  19. Bigoted W*****s
  20. Why not turn your attention to someone like Coyle who actually was a dolloper, instead of Mowbray who was a manager who had taken us as far as he could, no harm in that really.
  21. Massive club in my book is a Barcelona or Real Madrid, Sunderland have the potential to be a big club, much bigger than us thats for sure.
  22. Mitrovic couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo when last in the Premiership, came back to Championship and is now scoring for fun. Maybe Pukki needs to give him a call and ask for some tips, or better still leave Norwich and come to Ewood.
