  1. Unlucky that, slight deflection, should have been a corner.
  2. This Pickering slating, are you watching the game? The lads having a decent game, some good distribution too.
  3. How is that not a free kick on Pickering
  4. He’s a big old lump Hirst, unlike like his dad.
  5. Not sure about a hero, but agreed, a part for the Allardyce bit 👍
  6. Dolan had a number of man of match performances last season to convince regular watchers he’s got something about him. If he was consistent every week he wouldn’t be here, he’s 21, got pace and knows where the goal is. Give the lad time, he could end a right player.
  7. As much as I respect fellow posters opinions, I'm going to side with Premiership manager Graham Potters on this one Ossy. 😁
  8. Currently plying his trade in Premiership, which tells its own story I guess.
  9. Shoot the bastard, shoot the bastard, shoot shoot shoot the bastard. Blackburn End choir - 1980’s.
  10. How the officials missed that was baffling to me, he certainly deserves the ban.
  11. I don't know the context here without seeing the whole tweet, but isn't he being facetious? Actually telling them they know nothing and our owners are shit? Maybe I'm missing the point here, its still early.....
  12. I was fortunate enough to visit a few years ago, really interesting, dispelled more than a few myths and the food was superb. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/20892878.lancashire-mosques-taking-part-visit-mosque-day/
  13. What utter rubbish.
  14. Quality player signed to a proper contract, maybe the worst owners in football are finally listening, but I doubt it.
  15. Well you need to claw something back after the Blackpool double prediction disaster 😂 Tough game tomorrow, City have started the season well. 1-1 draw
  16. Just listened to JDT interview on BBC sounds. Clearly disappointed we didn’t bring more players in, avoided the direct answer well. Talked about projects and new chapters which will please a few on here I’m sure. Also made the point we’re not favourites for a reason, we can’t compete with the bigger squads. Has he been reading this site?
  17. I watched Cynthia Erivo on the Proms last week, absolutely mesmerising, what a voice, had me captivated from start to finish. Are you booked to see Springsteen next summer @only2garners? We're off to the Villa Park gig.
  18. @roversfan99 Its been a good week, why have you brought this thread back to the top, I can feel the old ticker working overtime just at the thought of these parasites stepping foot in the town 😁
  19. Well if it makes you feel better bluebruce. Give us your thoughts on the window and future, that is what most posters are interested in I'm sure.
  20. You can't judge anyone right now, they need time to settle and establish themselves. We are also struggling with injuries, I'm not sure Tomasson has had the luxury in recent weeks to play his first 11 or preferred formation/style, but we've seen glimpses. Josh also missed off Khadra who we haven't replaced at all. Time will tell if it was a good window or bad.
  21. We all know if a player wants to leave, kicks up a massive fuss, he forces through a move, very rarely do clubs put players in reserves and let them rot, they move them on. Thankfully Brereton is the consummate professional, has worked his socks off to get where he is and we are lucky to have him.
  22. Where he'll get a good reception from the fans and quite right too.
  23. Do we have a bank manager? Last I heard Barclays had closed the Venky account and told them to sod off for defaulting on payment after payment.
  24. Coming into this season it was clear we had real problems with gaping holes in the squad, the matchday squad at that. The biggest losses for me were Lenihan, Rothwell, Van Hecke and Khedra from last season. Have we replaced those players with the same quality or better? Time will tell, nobody knows. Another takeaway from last season was we had no strength in depth, once the inevitable suspensions, injuries and loss of form hit we sank like a stone, we certainly haven't improved in that area, still a real cause for concern I'd say. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised we paid one or two transfer fees this time around, although if you do the sums it only amount to Lenihans apparent 4yrs contract offer over 4yrs, buts lets hope the outlay bears fruit and at least JDT has been backed with a few quid. Listening to Tomassons interview midweek, he wants 3 transfer windows, not including this, to put his stamp on the team, so the journey starts here, with Bristol City tomorrow. Onwards and upwards.
  25. Exciting young player making his way in the game, I enjoyed watching him last season and now plying his trade at one of the favourites to go up. Clearly has something about him TS.
