  1. Just on the wider point, our main problem last season was lack of strength in depth, the first 14 players were terrific until Christmas, then injuries, loss of form and tiredness kicked in and the rest is history. Superb effort by the fans yesterday, price increases made no difference, just goes to show what this club and its supporters are capable of, if in the right hands.
  2. Your mates aren’t giving him £7m 😂 We can’t even keep Nyambe, cheap bastards.
  3. Actions speak louder than words, it’s league position that count….
  4. as are the other 10 that started the game....
  5. Far to slow all over the pitch, but we’re winning.
  6. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20588979.blackburn-rovers-no-concerns-ben-brereton-diaz-amid-speculation/ JDT full of praise for the backroom team he's managed to retain: That is helped by the information provided to him by the club’s analysis department as well as the coaching staff who were kept in place over the summer. He said: “First of all we have a great analysis department, I have a great staff who are used to it. We have Damo, Dave and Ben who are used to the Championship, Remy has worked in the Championship before.
  7. You have to question just how many times JDT/GB have seen them play too Matty, maybe they've found John Parks scouting book dumped at the back of The Riverside. We need bodies in, players with experience, its a start.
  8. I see the dingles have gone back to a kit that looks like someone been sick all over it, very apt.
  9. Rovers 1 QPR 1 Trains are on strike, check before travelling 🙄
  10. Come on you Udders.
  11. A higher calibre of player requires a higher calibre of budget, doesn't matter who the manager is. JDT has his hands tied due to a limited budget, rising players wages and rising transfer costs, id expect to see any incoming players to be of a lesser calibre of player than we saw last season, hope I'm wrong, but its simple economics.
  12. Well this is all very predictable, not a pot to piss in, waiting for handouts from Premiership club and billionaire owners. You can keep changing the manager and his direct reports, but we need a change in ownership or this continues season after season after season......... Venkys Out!
  13. What a goal fest they missed tomphil, more the fool them 😁
  14. England have just hammered Sweden to make the final and you’re picking fault. Embarrassing to be honest.
  15. Exactly Asia, you wonder what people are watching……
  16. Fran Kirby turned on a sixpence in the box, Damien Duff esq., brilliant stuff. In the first half both teams pinging the ball around, speed and precision, a joy to watch.
  17. England Lionesses superb stuff, doing the nation proud.
  18. David Trimble, Northern Island first minister and Nobel piece prize winner. RIP
  19. Not aimed at you OJF. Its the cock waving I believe that pisses everyone off OJF, the private messages to attack other posters was a particular low point on here for me. One poster had a meeting with Waggott and published every last word, which put things into perspective.
  20. Been at Tramlines festival this weekend in Sheffield, novelty band of the weekend: The Everly Pregnant Brothers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWFH1Y0WocI - My chip pans on fire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc8KOFif-JM - Stuck in Lidl with you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opets-QlHMw - No oven no pie
  21. That remark alone tells me Lindsay is probably out of her depth, I'd also question her figures too. Our support comes from across the region, across the country, across the world and the supporters of all creed and colour will return, if the clubs run properly by people who care. Good reply to that bullshit Glenn.
  22. Many thanks to @glen9mullan for his time and effort once again. We've had 12 months of cock waving from certain quarters, "We can't tell you this, we can't tell you that" and here we are, straight to the point, on the open forum for posters to read. I've long been of the opinion we are better off with a CEO than not, this has reaffirmed that view for me, he's come across ok here, but we need initiatives and actions from him, not just words. Thanks Glenn.
