I'm watching The Staircase on Sky at the moment, the HBO Tv production with Colin Firth playing Michael Peterson. Firth as you'd expect has done an amazing job with the voice and mannerisms, just brilliant. I watched the documentary a while back, if you've not seen that you're missing a real treat, a must for true crime buffs.

The owners have known for months, Waggott too, that Mowbray wasn't having his contract extending, so in reality its probably taken 5 months not 5 weeks! Flying by the seats of the pants the lot of em.....

He's a better centre half than Grant Hanley was in my opinion and he's managed to ply his trade at the highest level.

I'd have saved money on appointing a new DOF and given that money to the captain of the football club. I don't know of any DOF that have got a club promoted, by I know plenty of captains that have.

I drove through Holmfirth recently and the Mrs commented on the types of people milling around, looked like a throwback to her youth was one comment... We went home and looked at the gig guide for Holmfirth and The Fall were playing 3 nights, sold out, which explained things! I was never a fan, but clearly plenty still are.
