  1. My sources tell me, 2 Boro season ticket holders by the way ……Hated on Teeside, played everyone out of position and lost the dressing room. You really wouldn’t…….and they’re not to happy with Wilder either, 4 games, no wins and no goals….
  2. I tell you what, I’m not absolving Mowbray of blame here, but he’s been let down badly by this bunch of bottlers that call themselves Blackburn Rovers players. Far to many just couldn’t give a toss as we’ve seen over this Easter weekend and he backs them through thick and thin. Bottlers.
  3. Nobody is going to sack Mowbray, they don't have any authority and even if they did they'd have to pay him compensation and these cheap bastard owners don't like paying compensation, but seen quite content to piss millions up the wall on wages year on year. Figure that one out. VENKYS OUT
  4. To lose to a Stoke side with nothing to play for is a disgrace, he should have been fired at the weekend, he should be fired now, but who would do it? These owners have destroyed this club and continue to do so. VENKYS OUT
  5. I'm not sure about this potential fight with Khan, or Brook for that matter, but as Conor said on Saturday, money talks and it would sell out. As you say they should be looking at the likes of Broner or Garcia next, but Eddie likes to milk his cash cows, so I won't be holding my breath. Nathan Heaney came through a tough test against an Argentinian at the same time as Benn was fighting, he looks like bambi on ice at times, a decent domestic fighter with plenty of Stoke lads following him, which makes him a bit more box office than most at his level.
  6. I know you're having a bit of a laugh here and you make your own luck in football, but we've been on the end of some awful refereeing this season, the standard has plummeted to the worse I can ever remember. It always seems worse when you can't buy a win or score goals, but I'm sure I'm not on my own in thinking they've been awful. Rovers 1 Stoke 1 - Players have given up.
  7. We still have an outside chance of a playoff place, we have fans flying in from the other side of the world. Let this post sink in…,
  8. Add to that Diaz and Kaninski will be sold in January, Dack will never play again, Ayala wasn’t at the ground against Blackpool ( He was singing autographs at 2pm behind Bburn end) Allardyce to burnley and he’s now stollen Paul’s claim that Mowbrays going to WBA 😂 Bullshitter.
  9. Post you facts tomphil, the stage is yours.
  10. I don't know what TM is on, but the way the clubs run it will be peanuts. Allardyce was on over £1m a season. Rat signed a deal after the Wigan away game which increased his salary to £1.5m (But reduced his compensation package substantially) I want to throw up........ Berg and Appleton were on £400/£500k, Berg took us to the high court get his compensation, Appleton threatened legal proceedings and was paid his. Bowyer was cheap as chips, coach proving himself and Paul Lambert thought the promises made by the club were to good to be true and wisely inserted a clause to leave if they never followed through on the rebuilding plan/money, which he triggered in no time after Venkys refused to offer new contracts to key staff and stopped answering his calls. Coyle undercut Warnocks pay demands and was given the job, Coyle offered to also work with no transfer budget, I think Warnock is on record as saying he wanted £1m. To put things into perspective, the highest paid Championship manager in 2020 was on £3.6m a year, the average managerial wage was £800k. We have learned over the weekend that Dyche was on £7m a season and he'll be one of the worst paid in the division. Mowbray will be on peanuts, we are a pound shop football club these days and the next man will be unemployed and willing to work for nowt.
  11. At the start of this season they didn’t have enough seats for season ticket holders, they had to take turns to attend!
  12. I agree with your main point, but we aren’t paying Mowbray big wages, that’s why he’s here, because he fits the Venky model of being cheap and available.
  13. Nice bit of research Jimmy, but why hasn't the better half got you putting up some shelving or painting a fence this sunny bank holiday weekend? I've just looked at the side he took up as Champions: West Brom: Kiely, Hoefkens, Barnett, Clement (Albrechtsen 53), Robinson (Moore 72), Koren, Gera, Brunt, Greening, Bednar (Kim 46), Phillips. Subs Not Used: Miller, Morrison. I'd wager the entire was wasn't worth much more £25m back then let alone the bench! Anyway must run, another fence panel to paint......
  14. I think I get off quite lightly on the social media side if things, I only read this site. Maybe that’s why I find some of the views on here over the top, if I was across all platforms it probably wouldn’t be so strange to read, but I think I’ll save my sanity and stick to just here.
  15. Go on I’ll bite…… This ‘Wee Coyley mess’? Is that the same Coyley you spent years promoting on here for the managers job? Your man left us right in the shit, he did a number on the club and it’s fans almost as bad as king rat. Mowbray actually pulled the club out of that shit your mate left us in and put us back on a even keel. You may fool some, but you don’t me.
  16. Do you really believe 3/4 posters attitudes on brfcs are impacting company policy under some rock in Pune? Enough to encourage them to keep Mowbray and potentially offer him an extension? Is that really what you’re saying?
  17. You asked: ‘With what at their disposal’ I explained to you, nowhere near what they’d have now! Anyway as much fun as this is, decent night of boxing coming up tonight tomphil, including Connor Benn on DAZN at 10pm, bollox to the football….
  18. I’m sure they never had £25m+ of players sat on the bench like they had at Ewood earlier this season. But do carry on, it makes for entertaining reading.
  19. To be fair, they've done it before, at West Brom.
  20. I lived in West Midlands for several years, our neighbours were massive baggies fans, they have a box at the Hawthorns. He tells me this is pre-contract is nonsense, but he’d swap Bruce for Mowbray in a heartbeat.
  21. No professionals at this level TS.
  22. I’m off to watch Bradfield v Kexborough today, you can’t beat a bit of village cricket. @Tyrone Shoelaces How was the rugby?
  23. I can't agree with this D, we've both witnessed New Year capitulations in our time, a staple down at Ewood in 1980's. The only difference is we had people that cared about the club running the club, we had players on the books, players on contracts, backroom staff and a tea lady. These days we have absent owners, players who have no affiliation to the club, contract rebels and no tea lady, this collapse was always on the cards. This was only going to end one way, the only positive is we're not fighting relegation right now as many predicted, but I'm sure even thats bittersweet for many. The manor of that defeat yesterday was almost as bad as being relegated at Brentford for me, he should have been fired straight after the game.....
