Not true. Joe Root is seen by many people in the game as Englands greatest batsman. James Anderson is also seen by many in the game as Englands greatest bowler. Add Ben Stokes and Stuart Broad to that list and actually you’re seeing some of the best players this country has ever produced in the current team.

Spot on. I think he deserves a new deal based on the fact he's been here since he was 13 and he's a decent Championship full back, but he is replaceable you're quite right. My only concern is how losing Nyambe and possibly Lenihan will impact on what finally seems to be a mostly water tight defence. Throughout Mowbrays time here we've struggled in defence, I think he's been unlucky with injuries at times, but he seems to have finally found the combination and I'd hate to see it broken up. Just a word on the owners, it seems they've told Mowbray that Brereton won't be leaving unless a ridiculous offer comes in, credit to them for that even though its a no brainer.

We have a history as a fanbase of hammering homegrown talent, its been going on for decades, I just don't get it either. Nyambe isn't a local lad, but he's been with us since he was 13 and he should be rewarded with the contract his loyalty deserves.
