  1. Is “Bradley Dack Saturday” a new-gen football term?
  2. Shocked - but delighted - to hear Travis has renewed, it doesn’t really add up to me that players would sign long term deals with alleged uncertainty around the managers future.
  3. From what I’m told there’s an open secret at Brockhall that Tony stays regardless of this season. Owners trust him, the Rovers staff are built around him, the players like him.
  4. I suspect Ben will be going to play for Chile against Brazil. And they’ll play him despite him still being injured.
  5. Dacks on the bench, will come on for the last 30 I think. And probably score.
  6. Didn’t watch tonight because I was working. Wasn’t disappointed because this is oh so predictable. To the away fans travelling to these upcoming matches, I commend you. I can’t bring myself to put myself through it because I feel like it’s so predictable. Which is such a shame.
  7. If, like Tyrone, giving ratings is your bag please support BRFCS and do your official ratings here: https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/football/match/717218/fulham-blackburn
  8. Buckley? Dolan? I’d be tempted to give JRC one game and if this form continues change formation until one of Zeefuik or Nyambe is back.
  9. We’re talking about two different things here. You said “give it to the fans”. If they did that then it would be bump, quick, like I said. If they sold to a fan led group with back for nothing then yes, I agree with you.
  10. In the latest accounts wages to turnover are at 200%. That’s before any further expenditure. Who is paying for that?
  11. I think I’d be very annoyed if I was a multi billionaire that simply wanted to make a really good football club yet I was restricted about how much money I can spend. Is that an answer?
  12. We’d be on the verge of administration within 90 days.
  13. They’re not the ones missing their targets every single quarter. FFP is almost designed to stop clubs like ours being successful. Until the management team - not the ownership - can work out how to generate significantly more money then we will never be able to financially compete whether we have Venkys, an American billionaire, a Middle Eastern investment group or are fan owned.
  14. Look at their finances and work it out. Clue - massive parachute payments, significantly higher match day revenue, a much more successful corporate operation.
  15. The owners spent 16m quid, the absolute maximum they could get away with, to buy the training ground they already owned off the football club so that we didn’t fail FFP dramatically due to huge overspends by the current senior managements and the impact of COVID. They can’t spend money that they’re not allowed to spend.
  16. It will have snook up on a lot of Rovers fans and potentially players that couldn’t see that our spell in second place was mostly due to us playing more games than our direct rivals.
  17. As it stands Fulham, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, QPR, Sheff United and Luton are all in better positions than us. That’s six teams, for anyone that hasn’t counted.
  18. Very very harsh. One of our better players today and recently.
  19. We need to finish in the play offs before we can even consider winning them…
  20. I was just here to post the same. We have a big striker who has only ever showed anything positive when played centrally with crosses sent in to him. He’s playing left forward crossing balls in to Dolan and Giles.
  21. But if a rant coming, which is a shame. We should be really enjoying this season, because we are overachieving. I’d argue we are overachieving because the quality of the league outside of Fulham is really poor. But I’ve not been able to enjoy this because it feels so very predictable and like we continue to make the same mistakes. Now I’m not saying I know more than Tony Mowbray about football - he’s forgotten more than I know. But there are some huge issues which I just can’t get my head around: 1) The February slump. Why? Every year, why? I just can’t get it. It can’t be purely coincidence. 2) Rothwell. If, as we have been told, Mowbray and Rothwell had agreed he was going to Bournemouth only for Venkys to stop it, then Mowbray should have walked. He’s not been half of the player since the end of January and I believe it’s had a knock on effect with morale. Regardless he should NEVER have been allowed to fall into his final 6 months 3) Giles. He’s good. Good signing. But he’s a left wing back and we are committed to developing Pickering, our own left wing back. So why is he here? We clearly needed genuine attacking input, he’s playing right striker today. 4) Hedges. Totally bemused by this. We’ve been chasing him for what feels like forever. We sign him, pay money to get him here quick and then don’t play him? 5) Zeefuik. Doesn’t look great. A rumoured option to buy at 3M? I wouldn’t pay 300K so far. How much is he costing? Would Nyambe have signed 6 months ago if we had offered him whatever Deyo is costing us? 6) Tony always speaks about recruitment. Gallagher has been a complete disaster. He signed Markanday who has potential but nothing else so far. We where DESPERATE for attacking solutions in January because BBD was always going to break down at some point. Some observations on the game: JRC is either really poor or not a RWB. He had a great reputation so I hope injuries haven’t taken their toll. Pickering is getting exposed. If JVH struggles with Mitrovic - who let’s be honest is a superb Championship striker but distinctly average in the Premier League, then he won’t be playing for Brighton next year. Dolan is trying and is worth a place in the squad but pedigree wise let’s not forget he was released by PNE and on loan at Clitheroe 2 years ago. Kaminski should have done better but it shouldn’t have come from that. Lenihan one of the few to come out of this with any credit. Out of contract in the summer.
  22. He’s a left wing back playing right wing…
  23. They’re on the back foot and panicking because the ball wasn’t put out. Yes Kaminski save was weak but he shouldn’t have been in that position. Just seen we could well go down to 6th today…
