That *was* the January Window

It’s all bundled up and paid monthly - so we will have been paying Bournemouth X per month (loan fee + wage contribution) and that stops from Jan 1st, releasing X as money spare in the budget which is covered by the fee agreed with the Indian Government. -

We will have paid some sort of loan fee as well as wages. -

If he's got an Ipswich move then i'll be impressed. I've just asked his family member and he said "not heard notin mate". -
There's another update at 6pm tonight saying you can now buy tickets on the day.

James Hill going back has freed up enough money for us to sign ORoirdon? -

There seems to be a lot of confusion over this so its worthwhile us all being clear. The £11.5M being requested will be approved, because a precedent has been set now by the Indian Government, but this money will only cover paying the existing bills from 1st December onwards. These funds do not have a pound in them for transfers and Venkys cannot send us more money for transfers whilst under the restrictions. There is no clear end date for when the restrictions will end, this could still be the case this time next year. -

Its a decent idea, so I won't criticise it too much, but by Christ does that area need some money spent on it. Rusted metal, weather stained brickwork, faded and flaking paint, rubbish all over the floor - its not exactly a tribute to our history. I think they'd have been wiser to put them in the BBE concourse personally, but its done now. -

You're not going mad. If anyone can skim read this once and clearly understand the ticketing process throughout January i'll be astounded. -

Which would be a PR nightmare. To u-turn so close to the game would be a real sign of a lack of understanding. They’re so deep in now, it’s best to continue. -

Especially when there’s a clear break in agreed process - in his own words the club should be notified of any conflicts and he’s saying they weren’t! “Sorry folks, I know the event is booked but as per the agreed terms any conflict must be flagged and this hasn’t been flagged. We cannot allow a legends event for another club to happen inside Ewood Park, not least a regional rival. We’re investing a lot of resource into engaging the local community and converting Rovers fans, this event actively goes again our plans.” -

It’s all becoming to look a little one sided to me, on one hand he’s renting Ewood Park out for Liverpool Legends Evenings and on the other he’s hoping the fans will bring another 8,000 Rovers fans through the gates for a Fans Takeover. There’s only so many times Rovers fans will be able to work unpaid to improve experience and club together to raise money to engage fans - is three times a season feasible in your opinion? -

For me, Markanday is by far the worst player in the squad. -

That poor leadership and bad decisions will not be tolerated. I guess you could call it ‘standards’. -

There’s no way we’re signing a keeper - we’ve spent too much of our limited budget on Leo (800K) and Pears (250K?) to spend more. -

Then even if it’s under Sodexo’s rule, it’s in Rovers interest they’re not taking down the murals and painting it magnolia! I despair I really do. Another fantastic point. -

Just to be clear, as you suggesting it makes no difference to the club whether Rovers fans drink in Blues or the Working Men’s Club before a game? -

Just for clarity I’m not expecting you to know the answers to these questions Mike, I’m simply expressing how much of a disgrace I think this entire fiasco is. Especially considering the amount of work fans are putting in to try and create the next generation of Rovers fan. Which, as a reminder, is actually the clubs job. -

There’s multiple fuck ups from the club here and to be totally honest, when the murals where taken down isn’t the biggest. Although seeing imagery of club legends stacked behind the Riverside rotting in the rain does tell its own story of Venkys. Let’s look past when the murals being taken down happened and concentrate on the bigger questions: 1) Why is a Liverpool Legends Event booked at Blues Bar? Who has approved it, who didn’t think to sense check it, how many other similar events are proposed? 2) The imagery has been removed and painted magnolia. Does this improve the experience for Rovers fans in Blues Bar? -

I’ve no idea the dates when the imagery was taken down - other than believing what Duncan has stated, some were taken down pre COVID and there was some additional imagery that may or may not have been taken down more recently. Let’s look at it a different way: If the murals haven’t been taken down to facilitate Liverpool Legends Evenings, why have they been taken down? They were in perfectly good condition and whoever has taken them down has been paid to do so. We’re in financial armageddon, who has approved that cost? Let me guess… “It was Sodexo, we had nothing to do with it!” well when that comes up, can we please ask: 1) What gives Sodexo authority to just take down the imagery and repaint Blues? 2) Do we think painting it magnolia has improved the experience for Rovers fans? -

It’s not really the point - the point is the additional ones have been removed to make the space more acceptable for Liverpool Legends events. Which is utterly fucking bonkers and undermines all the hard work people have done to get local people back involved in the club.
