  1. Are you from Blackburn out of interest? It’s a very small place, I’m 32 and I’d say I know most 25-35 year olds in my local area. That’s not unusual, it’s pretty much the case with everyone. I got my haircut next to Brereton last week in Clitheroe. I bumped into S. Wharton walking my dog in Barrow this week. I was sat with the first team coaches at the Bull in Langho last weekend. I played 5 a side with one of the physios on Monday.
  2. I’d say “Young Adam looks a player!” and they’d say “He’s really good. But his attitude isn’t brilliant, last month he stormed off the pitch after getting caught in training.”

  4. The players, usually.
  5. Is anyone really surprised? Who here can legitimately tell me the last time you watch Rovers be faced with a real big season defining moment and this team managing to fight to a victory?
  6. And that’s despite being up until 2am gaming most nights, storming off the training ground if someone tackles him and making threats on his future to the DOF. If someone can manage him we’ve got some player.
  7. The players are bottlers. They’ll get absolutely tonked by Burnley. Season is over, develop the young talent for next season. I’ve no need to see anymore from players we don’t own (Morton, Thomas) or players we won’t have next season (Ayala, Dack, Brereton) or players we desperately need rid of (Gallagher).
  8. There’s a huge problem with culture at Ewood if you ask me. I’ve said it before today and it’s not reactive to the current score line, but too many players are happy to accept not being quite good enough. The fans know what’s coming next when it comes to these games, it’s entirely predictable. That will take new players and a new culture before the issue is addressed which to be fair I believe GB and JDT are capable of managing. As a side note, having a number 9 that offers no threat is a serious disadvantage. When watching the second half watch how many times Gallagher connects with the ball in the 18 yard box. He misses headers and isn’t in the right place when balls are played in almost consistently.
  9. They’ve given everyone 7 year deals and spread the payments over the same period.

    I love this idea @StubbsUK
  11. Only because the other option is Vale. Who is absolutely diabolical.
  12. “Bradley, stay in the 18 yard box as soon as possible. They’re all instructed to pass to you. All we need from you is to finish the chances.”
  13. Pears JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Wharton Thomas Szmodics BBD Dack
  14. I said it was all very Mowbray, that’s been coming.
  15. Birmingham much the better side so far.
  16. Should be two down here, it all feels very Tony Mowbray at the moment.
  17. He double downed and appropriate action has been taken.
  18. Was going to hide this, but thought it was better to say I think this is disgusting.
  19. 50K a week maximum!! Regardless, from what I hear (I know, I know) JDT is happy to see Mowbray’s men move on and backs the club to replace them.
  20. That’s a valuation, not his worth.
  21. He’s worth what people are willing to spend on him. It’s as simple as that.
  22. They don’t care about our football club like we do, no.
  23. It’s entirely down to the CEO putting a block on all expenditure through COVID. By the time it was over it was an easy decision to ignore a deal. Not saying that was the wrong decision, the pandemic meant hard choices. But the decision made had huge knock on effects.
  24. Pears has to retain his place until he makes a mistake just to maintain any credibility for the manager. But I’d look to sell him whilst he has good value in summer and keep TK as number 1.
  25. I seriously considered trying to moderate this chaos but sometimes you just need to let chaos be chaos.
