    Fourth most expensive tickets in the league. Failed on the STs sold target. Missed the top six because of goal difference after three failed signings in January. Three of our best players leave on a free. Club openly discussing having no transfer budget. Our homegrown talent linked with moves away. The first manager in years with proper credibility in the game under constant speculation about his future. The stadium looks like it could fall down in places. To be fair, we’re due Waggott convincing a well meaning fan to tell everyone about all the good things just around the corner.

    I don’t think he’s evil at all. I think he’s ambition-less, has a total lack of understanding about the area and chooses the easy route every single time — even if that means he rips off the fans.

    I don’t think it’s needed. As long as it stays respectful with nothing getting above light jibbing then I welcome fans from any club around the world. It’s nice to hear other club fans opinions. It actually creates a better community if you ask me. I wish @ffan would come back! To be quite honest, I find I have a lot more to discuss with your average Dingle than I do with say a Stoke fan, or a Millwall fan. We’re 8 miles away from each other. The reality is in the most part we’re the same people, with the same values and outlooks on life. Which is why as long as I’m in charge, @longsiders1882 and @sympatheticclaret are welcome and treated like any other poster.

    The 24 year old man tasked with convincing you, Rovers fans, to part with your hard earned money. Systematic dumbing down from top to bottom. Promoted to Head of a Department after 12 months paid employment at Bournemouth. Incredible.

    Manager: B+ Players: C- Recruitment: D Negatives Only Sheff United and Burnley spent more time in the top six than Rovers, but we finished 7th. An overall negative goal difference. Burnley won the league at Ewood. Three of our better players leave on a free transfer. Previous weaknesses once again exposed - Sheff United in the Cup, Coventry in the League, PNE in the League, Luton in the League, Rotherham in the League. Failure to land a No9 (including George Hirst being named “top target”) and the LOB debacle proves to be the difference Positives Adam Wharton becomes the best player at the club. JRC goes from a waste of a wage to an all action, aggressive, risk taking right back. Hyam comes in at least as good as Lenihan. Szmodics defines a classic Rovers player for me. An interesting summer ahead, plenty to be encouraged with if you ask me but it all lies in recruitment. We need at least 6 first team players through the door.

    Funny game is football, I think Thomas really compliments JRC and it’s nice to have a player capable of a dangerous cross on the pitch. I’d much rather we replaced Hedges with a striker.
