  1. Minimum return with 10 games left for top-six is 5 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses. 75 points. Need to pick up a win here. Pears JRC Carter Hyam Brittain Travis Buckley Thomas Szmodics Brereton Dolan
  2. Yeah, it was a sky sports thing not a Rovers thing.
  3. Locked - this is a WDWY discussion.
  4. Pickering did his job there, Dolan didn’t track back until it was far too late. We need BBD on that left side for both his attacking work and defensive work.
  5. This lot - predictably, considering they’re missing their two centre halves and keeper - are dodgy at the back. It’s a game for BBD.
  6. I’m going to start selling magic beans to XG believers.
  7. With the right backing, JDT’s taking us up. I guarantee it. It might not be this season but it happens.
  8. Agreed - this is absolutely tiresome now and the people responsible know who they are. The sniping has put the breaks on a thread which is current, important and worthy of discussion. There's a mute button - use it. If you don't use it, don't blame us if we start handing out bans for constant sniping.
  9. The only signing we made on his recommendation was Thomas. I don’t want to be an after timer - because I hadn’t been told this until today - but it sounds like JDT didn’t approve/wasn’t happy with the standard of a lot of his recommendations through January.
  10. So we’re going to go 21 unbeaten?! In the Championship? Stoke (A) = L Reading (H) = W B'ham (A) = W Norwich (H) = L H'field (A) = W Hull (H) = W Coventry (H) = L Nobbers (A) = W Dingles (H) = L Luton (H) = D Millwall (A) = D 75 PTS, 5th place.
  11. There is absolutely no way on gods Green Earth we go 10 games unbeaten. That’s bonkers, we’ve had a few good games but this is an exceptionally hard league.
  12. Tough place to go to, especially after a big win against Sunderland. Would snatch your hand off with a draw.
  13. It’s worded strangely - the ‘option’ was automatically activated on promotion.
  14. Gallagher looks much better playing as a centre forward.
  15. They’ll slow right down until they win the league at Ewood that lot. Spiteful bastards.
  16. I’ve got an overriding sense of proudness. I’m proud of JDT, our head coach, that has managed to assemble a spirited team and develop fringe players into first team regulars. I’m proud of Aynsley Pears, our back up Goalie that looks completely assured every game. Proud of JRC that I had completely written off. Proud of Carter, another of our own that we have developed into a cool and calm defender. Proud of our captain Travis, who had been out of form, forced to play in the U23s, got his head down and came back a dynamic, forward playing leader. Proud of Dolan, who was released from our neighbours PNE, was pretty average at Clitheroe and now looks a threat every time he goes forward. Proud of Gallagher and Szmodics who work their absolute bollocks off every game.
  17. Is everyone (?) getting an alert asking you to vote for MOTM? I’m testing and I don’t know if it’s doing what I hope it is…
  18. Download an app called “radio garden” and listen to “radio darwen” during games…
  19. League Two is calling - nowhere near good enough.
  20. Would make sense but that means no rovers fans below.
  21. Aha - didn’t realise that. Yep, we need Burnley to beat them.
  22. On current form (assuming Sheff Utd win their game in hand) then they are 9 pts ahead - eg three games. So if the same form continued they would win the league at Ewood. If we beat Sheff Utd at weekend it would be a guard of honor at Ewood. Basically at this stage we need Burnley to keep winning and Sheff Utd to start losing.
  23. Who can work out the sequence of results needed for them to either win promotion or worse, the league at Ewood? Or just as bad, what is needed for them to win the league at QPR and get a guard of honour at Ewood?
  24. I agree with every single thing you’ve posted here in the last 24 hours - there is absolutely no way LOB or Forest have a leg to stand on RE any form of compensation. Essentially we proposed a deal and - through our own negligence - didn’t get it approved by the EFL. The contract is worthless until it’s signed by all parties AND approved by the league. Forest could have told him to come back to Nottingham at any point on Deadline Day and there was nothing we could do. Reading through the order of events it just makes me even more infuriating that Waggott was at Birmingham that evening. There isn’t a single explanation which I’ll accept about what on earth he was doing there - and I certainly won’t accept “there’s an unwritten rule that the CEO attends every game” which was the explanation at the time. To be absolutely clear we had our CEO and Owners Representative in Birmingham, our Secretary at Ewood and our DOF in Manchester (then Brockhall) with the player. Absolutely astounding. They should have all been at wherever is best placed to deliver a transfer, whether that is Ewood or Brockhall. We put LOB through club media in the key hour period between 9:45pm and 10:45pm where the EFL where waiting for details of the transfer - INCREDIBLE!!! Do the fecking media the following day!
