  1. If the game is picked with a certain amount of notice (don’t know the actual timelines) the club has no choice, but if it’s relatively last minute they have a say in it, yes. I really dislike the notion that Waggott is sat in his office furious at the impact on the fans after another game has been selected for Sky. His idea to build revenue is to charge the ~8,000 fans who will buy a ST regardless of price as much as possible, then sell as many games to Sky as possible.
  2. Sky don’t just decide who’s on, the clubs have a say. We’re willing to move kick off times, even days of games, to receive the Sky money. That’s the difference.
  3. I'd like to see Dack stay on reduced terms as well. The issue is I don't think JDT would play him even if he did sign. I don't want to see him sidelined being asked to come on for 15 minutes when we need a goal.
  4. Won't be able to afford Arma, he'll be on big wages now (even with a relegation clause) and he's more valuable than ever to Southampton now.
  5. I’d be delighted if we got money for Dolan in the summer. He’s absolutely stupid.
  6. Dolan is absolutely brainless.
  7. This lot are here for the taking.
  8. Absolutely has to score there. A shocking miss.
  9. It’s currently 12:13 into the game and I’d take Dolan off.
  10. No point keep putting crosses in. Their centre backs will win them all day. Need to play through them.
  11. Wait, what?! I don’t think we will break 10,000 ST sales, can you explain this? Good to see the ST sale calculator return, btw.
  12. It’s FREE on BRFCS! Despite there being a paid for ad free version of BRFCS, it’s all on the front page 1 minute after release. Incredible! No pressure, obviously: https://brfcs.com/magazine/premium
  13. I love Adam Wharton as much as the next person, but let’s not forget Bellingham was the best player on the pitch almost every week for Birmingham and was younger than Adam. Adam needs another successful 12 months to be a 25M footballer.
  14. They paid for access to City’s on deadline day because it’s easier to get people to (train, plane, motorway access). Usually it’s all done at Brockhall.
  15. I think they’re both good players but neither where necessarily great signings
  16. I think that’s harsh on Morton. I think quality wise he’s a good loan, my issue is that he’s a very similar player to Buckley and Wharton meaning three of our four central midfielders do the same thing. We needed something different. Also think it’s harsh on Thomas, if he had a genuine striker to work with he would have had much more success. If we had a 30 year old Danny Graham he’d have scored 20 league goals this season.
  17. …because that will mean Waggott’s ploy to charge those willing to buy a ST regardless of price top whack, then sell Sky TV rights to every game regardless of effects on the dates or times of games, doesn’t generate the same amount of income.
  18. See, when BRFCS decided to start making retro blue and white football shirts of no link to the Blackburn Rovers Football Club brand, we took pre-orders first to make sure there was enough demand to commit to the minimum order needed for it to be worth our while. Because we actually thought about it, rather than spending resource, money and time creating something that would have little uptake.
  19. Email Lyndsay Talbot and arrange to drop it at Brockhall.
  20. I think he’s spent the last 10 months talking about developing assets because he realises to generate budget he needs to develop and sell talent.
  21. At some point early second half before they scored my phone said they had 0.34 xG. That’s all I know.
  22. Where have you been these past 10 years or so?
  23. I believe that effort on goal had an xG of 0.02. They had much more than that in total.
  24. He’s quoted as saying it in local press, LET/Lancs Live/Radio Lancs.
