  1. 1942 is calling, they’d like their opinions back. For all you know he’s holding his girlfriends hand whilst she goes through a traumatic birth. For all you know they’re at risk of losing their first born and he’s struggling. For all you know they’ve struggled to conceive and this is the most important day of his life.
  2. Just been watching the Rovers Instagram story and noticed I couldn’t see BBD. His girlfriend is very pregnant at the moment…
  3. I think Gregg could do a lot worse than communicate with fans through a fan-led platform… …send me a DM, Gregg.
  4. I’m currently 4 minutes into ‘The ASD Podcast’ and the guest is none other than Gregg Broughton: He’s currently talking about how we signed Morton because he felt we needed a short term solution to midfield because we have Travis and Buckley established with Garrett and Wharton coming through rather than a ‘27 year old on a three year deal that would be expensive’. So that puts Hamer to bed as an option.
  5. Hamer would be my number one ‘realistic’ target, I’ve posted it before. It’s a shame he’s so small (5 ft 7) because if he was 6 ft 2 he would have everything.
  6. There’s three options from what I can see: Option 1: We sell BBD and a sizeable amount of money for the transfer is available to replace him Option 2: We sell BBD and the budget to replace him doesn’t change Option 3: We don’t sell BBD and the budget to replace him doesn’t change. In order preference I’m sure we would all go: 1, 3, 2. If option 2 happens we will have learnt a lesson about the future and the club should be scrutinised. The Armstrong reference is wrong, Armstrong (like the training ground) was sold to keep us within FFP and that’s been confirmed by all local journalists plus club management. The best reference is Rhodes who was sold and the money disappeared.
  7. Basically, this @JoeH but @StubbsUKwill be able to give an even more technical answer. A bit of a faff and we are looking for a solution but haven’t got one any better than upload elsewhere and link (yet).
  8. If that 350K striker is Ross Stewart 2.0… YES!
  9. Someone do the FFP chat again, I can’t do it again.
  10. In his Ipswich interview he says he “heard about Ipswich’s interest”. There’s no way that a League One club starts actively chasing a 3rd in the league Championship striker unless they’ve been given the heads up we’re at least open to him leaving, at best actively pushing for it. But yes, I’d suggest we didn’t want him, Leicester wanted him playing and Ipswich want him. Good going all round. Let’s see if GB can get it right second time.
  11. I think if given time Potter will do well. And I’d encourage that as he’s the ‘next generation’ of British manager, so I’d like to see him do well. I don’t suspect he will get it though. The new owners seem to be pretty hectic and ambitious. They’re desperate for a striker, Toney would be a superb buy for them.
  12. Hope you made it to the game?
  13. Glad you’re on the mend. We’ll either win or lose on the 28th, that’s for sure.
  14. Jheez Travis. Keep it simple. He’s really struggling to understand when the instruction from the coach.
  15. Bradley Dack is the best player in this team.
  16. https://twitter.com/joshboswell/status/1612095290139635713?s=46&t=6QQU-fU7Xm4G37EMkwX1yw i’m not allowed to upload videos here, but I can upload them to Twitter then link them… i think.
  17. He was way out of position on the press maybe 20 second before that run. Dack give him a telling off. But that will come and you’re right, he moves forward positively with the ball.
  18. it’s on “super sport” if you can find that. https://supersport.com/tv-guide
  19. They’re all over us at right back and left back. Markanday giving zero protection and it looks like Travis is playing right wing back…
  20. Is it stuttering/keep going to a black screen for you, out of interest?
  21. Take this with a pinch of salt because I’ve no evidence to back to up, but I was once (about 3 years ago) told that Scott Wharton used to get really pissed off with Adam Wharton because John Buckley was playing but whenever ‘Adam could be bothered’ he was far far superior than Buckley in training, but Adam was always tired/cold/disinterested. If anyone can be bothered, use the search function and look up posts by my username and Wharton and you’ll find the original post. A top manager will get Adam playing (trying…) consistently and when they do, he’ll be a Premier League player. For what it’s worth I do think JDT is capable of managing him to that outcome.
  22. He lined up yesterday in the first eleven team (so I was told, but the same applied for JRC), so between then and last night something has changed. Either a niggle or JDT didn’t think he was putting enough effort in. I predict the latter. His attitude (if we’re to believe the rumours) is very laid back and confident and I don’t think that’s either appreciated, understood or liked.
  23. 9 out of 11, not bad. Excited to see Leonard.
  24. I’ve changed my mind based on RoversChat first 11 prediction… they ‘predicted’ the same team as me yesterday, thus me posting the above, but are now saying Carter, Phillips, Wharton and Edun at the back today. Which is a big change.
