He was way out of position on the press maybe 20 second before that run. Dack give him a telling off. But that will come and you’re right, he moves forward positively with the ball. -

They’re all over us at right back and left back. Markanday giving zero protection and it looks like Travis is playing right wing back… -

Is it stuttering/keep going to a black screen for you, out of interest? -

Take this with a pinch of salt because I’ve no evidence to back to up, but I was once (about 3 years ago) told that Scott Wharton used to get really pissed off with Adam Wharton because John Buckley was playing but whenever ‘Adam could be bothered’ he was far far superior than Buckley in training, but Adam was always tired/cold/disinterested. If anyone can be bothered, use the search function and look up posts by my username and Wharton and you’ll find the original post. A top manager will get Adam playing (trying…) consistently and when they do, he’ll be a Premier League player. For what it’s worth I do think JDT is capable of managing him to that outcome. -

He lined up yesterday in the first eleven team (so I was told, but the same applied for JRC), so between then and last night something has changed. Either a niggle or JDT didn’t think he was putting enough effort in. I predict the latter. His attitude (if we’re to believe the rumours) is very laid back and confident and I don’t think that’s either appreciated, understood or liked. -

9 out of 11, not bad. Excited to see Leonard. -

I’ve changed my mind based on RoversChat first 11 prediction… they ‘predicted’ the same team as me yesterday, thus me posting the above, but are now saying Carter, Phillips, Wharton and Edun at the back today. Which is a big change. -
Glad to see someone of a similar mindset. If we don’t sell BBD this month we have gambled: 1) We will be in the top four sides excluding Burnley and Sheffield United 2) We will beat two of the other four sides (the first over two legs) 3) Doing 1 & 2 will be enough to encourage him to stay If we don’t achieve points 1 (and 2) we will be faced with the prospect of replacing one of the best players in the league with whatever budget we can put together. Let’s not forget Ben can choose to sign for a foreign team today for nothing, albeit he wouldn’t move until summer.
-
Anyone hoping for JVH back can pretty much ignore that after his performance today for Brighton. Brilliant against Boro, best player on the pitch by far.

Let’s go one further - Harry Leonard makes his debut off the bench tomorrow. -
He does qualify - 17 points.

Six changes from Cardiff is what I’ve been told. Pears JRC Hyam Wharton Pickering Travis Wharton Markanday Dack Brereton Vale I reserve the right to be wrong. -
Now we’re talking. That’s a player I’ve never heard of, I have no idea where he plays and I’m not sure which of the two clubs he plays for. But I say go all out for him.
-
I reckon he takes worse than he gives.
-
Less than 6 months until we have to replace a 20 goal a season striker with £0. Exciting.
-
He does something I’ve not seen from any of our central midfielders all season. He moves around the pitch literally pointing to players exactly where he wants the ball passing to him and when he receives it, he either moves towards the opposition goal or makes a forward pass every single time. How Coventry have managed to sign these two is beyond me. Find that scout and hire them.
-
Seems a gamble for Wolves. I’d want someone more established in their position. But I could definitely see him succeeded in the Prem.
-
Speaking of Coventry players, Hamer does everything right that a defensive midfielder should do. It’s a shame he isn’t very physically imposing, if he was he’d be a top player.
-
He’s got 18 months left and I’m not entirely sure what we could offer him that Sunderland can’t given their gate revenue. Gyokores just hit the post again. I know they’re playing Wrexham but he does everything right. Not sure on a PL move, but could easily see him signing for Sheff United / Burnley in January to get them over the line or a team that gets relegated from the PL this season.
-
Not so much anymore..! Hamer and Gyokeres are really good players. Both will make someone superb signings.
-
I know it’s very unrealistic but if we could sell Brereton and replace him with Gykores I’d be well up for it. He’s a proper striker. Equally, Ross Stewart again today looked a brilliant number 9.
-
I’m going to open a nice bottle of red to celebrate.

Here’s hoping.
