One for @Miller11 I suspect, it isn't a number BRFCS has suggested -

I'd like to think with the right promotion, notice and funding WATR/BRFCS/RoversChat and others could get 10,000 over the line for a friendly. Eventually. That would be a real statement. I'd be more than happy with 5,000 for this one, but it'll need a huge promotion from all involved and local media. -

5,000 the target... we need @goozburger to track! BRFCS bought 45 tickets this morning. -
This is why typically your aged 40 year old fan goes bonkers and says things like “this isn’t good enough, it’s a disgrace, Waggott Out!” and your average 20 year old fan says things like “we don’t have money, what where you expecting, 9,000 STs is good!”

Let's stop talking about 'deserve' and instead talk about 'standards'. Pre-Jack we where in many ways, similar to Blackpool, Bolton, PNE, Burnley. A Northern Town football club. There's varying levels of history/success, but in principle we represented fans with in the most part the same attitudes and beliefs. Then Jack bought the club and as a successful but importantly - local - man, raised the standards whilst retaining the same attitudes and beliefs. He spoke about "Think Big" - thats very clever wording, it means retain everything that you know and believe but increase the standards. He didn't talk about a new culture or identity because as local man, despite being a multi-millionaire he was 'one of us'. This set a new benchmark for what Blackburn Rovers is and should be. When Jack passed, the values, ethics, beliefs didn't change. We where still a family club, that still developed local talent, that still created local infrastructure and still employed local people. During Venkys ownership, its the standards that have dropped. The things that Rovers fans have become accustomed to, had expected, the "Think Big" mindset was removed. Examples being... The training ground needed significant investment as it was due to lose the A-class rating. The ground is deteriorating. The pitch hasn't been replaced. The UK first club radio station has been closed. The RoversTV offering has dropped. The programme has been stopped. etc etc. What do Rovers deserve? Well, we don't necessarily 'deserve' anything. There's no god given right. But the standards have significantly dropped and thats where the confusion starts, because the club that Venkys, Pasha and Waggott are running doesn't accurately reflect standards that fans that remember Jack Walker have become accustomed to as the 'minimum' standard.

Blackburn Youth Zone are officially behind this and based on donations so far we’re expecting to be able to cover tickets, travel and expenses for around 40 children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access games at Ewood. If you’d like to donate send myself or Duncan a message. -

@StubbsUK should be able to give context but it’s odd to me that everyone else can see something you can’t… that would leave me to believe it’s at your end rather than ours. -
Based on the statement to Andy Bayes, I don't think they can rebuff the story. Their quote is 'fully expect him to be at Brockhall tomorrow" - that means they've not had anything official through to say that he won't be, not that they can guarantee it. I can guarantee members of my staff will be at work tomorrow because I have no reason to doubt it. They do.

Moved to ICBINF as the discussion isn’t relevant to Rovers specifically. Reminder to all posters that sexism will result in a permanent ban.

We’re up to £400 just from this post, which will see tens of local families who normally wouldn’t get the opportunity to get down to Ewood, have something to eat and drink and enjoy the post match entertainment. Thank you very much for all of the messages and support. -

This is a real moment of opportunity which - if circumstances allow - I encourage all fans to get behind. We’ve moaned for years now about a distinct lack of effort being shown by the senior management, we’ve looked googly-eyed at Accy and Stockport who have created a day-out culture towards matchday. If this is attended by 2,000 people and nobody uses/gets involved in the pre/post match activities that The Trust, BRFCS, 4,000 Holes and RoversChat are putting time and resource into for free, Rovers will use it as evidence to show that “we’ve done all we can”. The Fans Forum will be told for years that when they allowed fan involvement there was no economic benefit and no additional enjoyment for fans. If it’s attended by 10,000 people, who enjoy, get involved with and spend outside the ground they’ll see what The Trust and BRFCS and others have said for years now. There is something special about Blackburn Rovers Football Club and given an opportunity fans will come back. If you’re in a position where distance makes attending impossible, rather than money, buy someone local you know that wouldn’t usually go a ticket. If you'd like to donate tickets reach out to BRFCS / The Trust and we’ll help find local people that would appreciate the tickets. We (BRFCS) can only show the financial and time commitment that we are doing once, so we want to make sure we best utilise the opportunity. If you’ve got a skill (especially photographers, videographers, content creators, graphic designer, printers) than could help please get in touch. -
Skous18 isn't banned and I can't see any restrictions on your IP... are you sure its not your side? What happens if you use private browsing?

They had their Russian Oligarch funding removed when the war broke out, spent a fortune whilst they had investment which has resulted in very little resale value but high contracts and have hundreds of millions of investment into their new stadium.

Your Expectations for this Season?
J*B replied to SIMON GARNERS 194's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Will Sigurdsson and Ennis score / assist 22 goals between them? My money would be on no - mostly because I’m hoping we sign a No9 and Ennis is second choice. -

J*B replied to SIMON GARNERS 194's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
If I have a pound to bet, I'd be comfortable putting it on Sigurdsson not scoring more than BBD did last season. 15 goals (BBD = 14 G, 4A) in his first season is a big ask. -
Season tickets 2023-24 - what could/should be offered ?
J*B replied to damo100's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I used to work in City Centre pre-COVID and I've never seen a homeless problem like in Leeds. It needs (needed) urgently addressing. Although any more discussion should probably move to WDWY! -

Right now we won’t score anywhere near enough goals to be a threat to the top six. More to follow. -

Selling out of the new kit online within 15-minutes is classic Rovers. -

I offered - again - free access to our studio in Manchester and film facilities. Didn’t hear any back. Although last year they used Unmarked Agency, who are good, so they might have done it with them again. -
Agree entirely apart from the second to Kean line. We've had some serious shite including Owen fucking Coyle that are way higher than Mowbray on my disliked list.
